| I think I saw a meteorite tonight. I was out with my telephoto lens photographing the moon around 9:50pm and I looked over the other direction and I saw a really bright "star" moving pretty fast but not like a shooting star. It was more steady. So I swung my camera around and focused on it and it blew up like stardust being shot out in a spherical shape. Did anyone else see that?? |

hi there,
last night( sunday 04/01/09) at approx 8.30-900pm I saw a similar thing that lit the sky with a bright red color that slowly became white that slowly faded away in night sky horzin. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY SAW THE SAME THING AND TELL US WHAT IT WAS AND WHERE IT IMPACT IT ON EARTH OR NOT$ |

| There is a very bright light south east Melbourne it is visible as soon as it gets dark and seems to go lower to the horizon at about 10.30pm. Is it a satellite??? |

| Ive seen this, except it wasnt half the sky that turned to daytime, it was the entire sky and the light lasted for about 10 seconds. We were up North at the time and it was about 12:30 am. About 15 people were there at the time and everyone saw the same thing. |

"Earlier this evening -- well, yesterday (it is 1:14AM now) I was in Altona on a third story balconey looking north (city to my right, which I could see from 3 stories high) and then the whole sky lit up like daytime. I was with my dad and he pointed and said look. So I swung my head around and the whole eastern side of the sky was lit up just like daytime. However, the meteorite was blocked by the roof of the house, so I said to my dad "go around the other side", and he started shuffling so I said "quick, quick, quick" and he started running and I ran after him. When we got around the other side of the balconey (now facing south towards the bay) I could see a huge smoke trail in the night sky."
NOOOOO you are wrong....it was alien ships arriving to make contact with us....Just ask Wharfy (it_is_the_light) in "conspiracy Theories" section....
