Re:Frankston North Reply to this message
"Frankston North are getting higher rents than many other parts of frankston, you see the more rent charged pushes out the bad apples as they are unable to offered to live in the area any more,"

You are certainly right terrie - ther feral P.O.S are relocaating themselves in neighbouring Carrum Downs which used to be a nice place when I bought my house here 16 years ago.

Re:Frankston North Reply to this message
Frankston has always been a hole dedicated for those ferals who live there! i knew plenty of ferals from high school who lived there or friends of friends, and they were disgusting, and most of these teens/young adults there, have the same attitude, drinking, smoking, driving recklessly, i guess what else could they do in such a boring area really, they would usually go to the beach and pi$$ up! i'm so glad i dont associate with them anymore, i would NEVER walk the streets of Frankston alone.

When I lived there I was followed by a predator, and the thing is I was with another person and we had THREE dogs with us.

Two of which are good guard dogs, we did not realise that we were followed untill the dogs started to growl.

geez, so desperate for money or whatever- its a cr@p area with not enough police.

the seaford beach is nice but until they get rid of the druggies no matter how expensive the real estate becomes it is a shyte hole.

Exactly, and there are bad people everywhere but Frankston North and the surrounds is as you said VERY unsafe at night.

"its a cr@p area with not enough police."

You have identified one of the reasons for the problems which currently exist in the area madaroma.

At a recent community safety meeting at Carrum Downs, when it was put to the Police Chief Inspector in charge of Frankston district that there were not enough Police in the area, he went into full-denial mode claiming there were plenty of Police resources.

Just delivering the Government spin!

The community definitely needs a huge increase in Police numbers. If it made the streets safe for decent people again, I would be happy to live in a Police state. Unlike the crims & ferals I have nothing to hide.

Re:Frankston North Reply to this message
Your talking from past expirience and not from an investment point of view. Areas change and gentrify. All the scum are being pushed into Carrum Downs, Pakenham, Cranbourne & Narre Warren. Frankston has alot more going for it than all the previous mentioned.

Re:Frankston North Reply to this message
I grew up in Franskton North in the 70s, and maintain friendships with many of the people I was fortunate enough to spend my youth with. We have all gone on to lead happy, well adjusted and productive lives. I have recently returned to the area and I am very happy there. I have great neighbours and have met many wonderful people. For those of you highlighting the few people here who behave in an anti social manner, and they are the minority, dont kid yourself into thinking that there arent just as many anti social people living in the more "ritzy areas" of Melbourne, the only difference is they dress better.

Frankston Bypass has started, should put extra demand on anything inside of the bypass so Frankston North should do very well ;) Prices have already jumped up to around $250k
