No i have never lived with Mainland Aborigines, But i know a lot of good Tassie ones.. Who dont rip the government or anyone else off.. And live by the rules.. I get so mad at people being tarred by the same brush..

Very nice.. veeerrryyyy nice? Are you aware that I am a 60 year old grandmother, and have been accused of being a troll on these boards years ago, long before you youngsters even took your final exams.
The likes of Ruby, Nash, all their aliases and many others accused me of many things, because they couldnt take the truth back then.
I was drifting afresh then, and still am, you see I have prevailed where others have not.
All I am trying to get across to you, is that the website I speak of was created by people concerned about the future of Tasmania as the beautiful place it is. It exposes what goes on behind the scenes, what the tourists don't see, i.e. the destruction of the landscape away from the highways and tourist attractions. The big logging comapanies "exposed" is what you see on that website.
Oh, BTW, I own land in Tasmania, and it is surrounded by those stupid pine plantations which bear no resemblance whatever to Tasmanias native landscape, and which are full of pesticides and are indeed sterile and useless and detrimental to wildlife. |

Well when I came here as a tourist & potential residant I did go off the beaten tracks to see the real Tasmania & not what was given to me by a flight centre brochure...Sure there are good & bad points ( good being more dominate in this case!!) but thats with anything...I love Tasmania & am proud to call it my home now, & the helpful tips & places to visit you guys in the Tasmania Boards gave me really helped from personal points of veiw.....in which too I am extremely greatful..... |

you know why you've never lived with them, it's because you tassies killed them all except for 200 which you sent to the flinders islands where they died out. micheal mansel is no more an aboriginal than paul hogan is an eskimo. there are no tasmanian aboriginals a except maybe a couple of mainland ones that moved down there. |

don't waste yur time jack the knife, jules is a born and bred tasmanian (you know, extra chromosome and all that), plus only went to grade 8 which is good for a born and bred tasmanian, but sadly missed out on the history lessons about his own state, which would have taught him that his great grandfather was not only wiping out tasmanian tigers, but aboriginal scalps were worth money also in them days. |
