Hey mat good to see you that you're here still. As you know already I was in your neck of the woods the other week and then it was on to West Oz and then to Torquay in Victoria and now my eldest son who is following in my footsteps as a pro surfer is in Scotland of all places for the O'Neill Highland Pro. But, I'm not following him to Scotland because it's too fu//cken cold, I'm off to Indo in a couple of days for six weeks. What are you up to???

| Hi Matmos, I know a little how u feel moving to Tasi. I went there for holidays 2 yrs ago and fell in love with Tasi and recently bought a house in north east (waiting to earn enough to pay off mortgage) and can't wait to relocate to Tasi. Yes, I was attracted by its crisp fresh air, chlorine free tap water and friendly Tasmanians. I hate the dry heat in Perth (no rain for the last 3 months) and my dream of living in Tasi is something I am looking forward to. |

I love it here so much & I hope you will be able to get into your home in the near future....
Its nearly a year since I moved here, the time has gone so fast!
Im happy to see you like me have taken a pro-active approach & done it! (bought a house here)...
I love to live life & I don't let silly little things like 'cold' weather etc stop me from pursuing my dreams...
Like the point I was making before about Scotland!
Alot of people I have met are from the mainland here that now live here or are here scouting for a place because like me they are fed up with the vile dry hot weather up there & they love the people here as they are very welcoming & friendly!
Someone from interstate the other day told me that they thought Tasmania is the real Australia & the other states could learn from it!
