Well, having had to use a taxi twice in the last 5 days. The first one wasn't worth his weight in cow shit, by going slightly out of his way, bad english & bad customer service. The Taxi industy seems as they will take anyone at any standard to fill those jobs & bugger the customer.
The 2nd driver, well I guess he would be one in a hundred that did a great job. Took me the direct way to my destination, had good english & customer service. We need more of this type in our cabs.
It not often I use cabs, but it is good when you get great service from the driver. It makes a great impression on visitor who use taxis on arriving in Adelaide. First impression count to visitors who will tell their friends. |

| in regards to people being assulted in cabs well I'm sorry to hear that, these people who come from everywhere else should learn to speak english properly, learn their way around and be able to get around the CBD and to/from the airport with no GPS or mapbook..I used to live in Mt Barker, drove from there to Semaphore to work daily and didn't need a mapbook or anything, the only time I neeed one was to get around once at work....and I'd never lived in Adelaide before....my theory is aussies know their way round Adelaide easy enough so where the hell are they? the aussie drivers I mean?? |
