I seriously doubt that's his car. In Tassie you have to be 15 years and 11 months before you can even get a learners. Do you honestly thin he is that old ? |

| I think the corruption spreads as far as a vested interest in car wash companies ! How else can one explain the Governments reluctance to ease water restrictions in a time of plenty, Even more water than our catchments can handle so much so they have to release some ! but hey not enough to give the old bomb a good wash ????????? Roughly 15 years ago i was riding my bicycle along Goodwood Road when i nearly got car doored. I turned around to explain to the driver his error, then i got assaulted. I spat on the drivers windscreen as i left and then got chased and run down. I reported this to 000, and when the police arrived i knew something was weird. Alot of police arrived, and i was subjected to a breathtest which at the time was illegal to do!
The next day, Channel 7 arrived at my home, and they informed me that the offender was an off-duty Commissioned Officer of SAPOL. Then of course all the big wigs came and asked me all sorts of questions. Then someone came from the DPP and played the emergency call i made. She told me that someone from the police made a complaint that the tape had been doctored. When i listened to the tape, it was indeed doctored. The operator asked me "Are you sure this person realised that he hit you". And i replied "Yes, the driver knew exactly what he was doing." This was completely erased from the tape.
The matter went before the courts, yet i was the one made to feel like the criminal. Of course this highly ranked officer was found not guilty, and i have never heard anything else about the doctored tape.
I have come to the conclusion that the Government, Police and Legal System only look after themselves and don't give a stuff about Joe Public. My advice to people if you are ever questioned by authority, no matter if you have done something wrong or not, don't say a bloody word! |

Rann's grandfather was a Police inspector.
Rann grew up as a child wanting to be a police officer. He was told so many stories as a child re cases, so it's an area where he believes in the law. |
