Although our Dams and reservoirs are being drained off to reduce over fill during the wettest winter Adelaide has seen for many a year we still have to endure with over zealous water restrictions ! Why ?
If the government sees fit to release large amounts from our water catchment's why at least can it not loosen up on washing the family car ? Whats the deal ? Who really wants to pay $10 to have their car washed at a local car wash when the heavens are causing a deluge and the government is quite prepared to pour it down the drains by the mega litre ? Not me ! |

It's been years since we had so much rain. Fantastic to see everything so green (by SA standards).
But.....,I really want to hose down the front wall of the house... please!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reckon the government should give us all random days where we can use the hose to wash the car or the front of the house, or whatever!!!
Makes me wonder who owns all these car-wash chains??? They must've made an absolute fortune out of hose bans. It makes no sense to me that I can PAY use a hose there but can't use a trigger-hose at home to wash the car on the lawn... makes NO SENSE!?!?!!! |

Actually I wish the grubs in south australia had the decency to keep their dust to themselves. Seems like every rednecked revhead in the state must be frantically doing burnouts in their neanderthal fred flintstone commodes to throw up the dust cloud that reached as far as north queensland. |

Commodes????
yeah, suits Adelaide to a T
Dunno what it is about the place, whenever I've been there its looked dusty & dirty with litter everywhere. Rundle Mall looks like one of those old style rubbish dumps with crap everywhere and apparently inebriated indigenous folk cluttering every spare space. Sydney has the same dusty grimy look but at least the appear to sweep the place occasionally & that hell-hole has the excuse of a bigger population spewing pollution everywhere. Brisbane used to look much cleaner until the last few years but its starting to look like Sydney as well. |

I still live in Queensland but the extremely high tech solution I use to work around the so called water crisis will probably work in sSouth Australia too. Its called (wait for it) a couple of frigging big water tanks. I use the tank water exclusively & haven't touched a drop of the town supply for years. |

| I use Enjo cloths and minimum water. Works better than anything else - no smears on glass or duco. No chemicals. |
