SA is the hottset/driest state in the country and the records broken over the past few years had way proven it beyond a doubt!
I love it in Tasmania my new home where we have the cleanest & clearest water & beautiful scenery & climate! The people here are respectful, helpul & friendly which is lacking in SA..
SAians are a very defeatest lot of people which has led Sa open to evil dictators (Rann) and his like to imfultrate the place!
I was over there for a short stay a few weeks back & it was yuk!!!! I couldnt believe how dry and dead it was alot worse than whaen I left! and the horrid water....
As usual they where all 'freezing' and constantly wining like school girls about the so called '26dg' cold...pppffftt!!! I just laughed at them as I knew I have my lovely Tasmanian home to return to, over 1100 above sea level I stay nice and cool!!!!! SA is so flat & brown was the first thing I noticed flying down to the airport..
I left the adelaide airport in dry hot 30dg heat than arrived at Hobart airport was about 10dg cool & raining, then home to way below zero temps & snowing, I was so happy to be home I kissed the ground! |

| Yes, I reckon Tassie wld be beautiful. My comments about qld referred to the steamy weather which I find completely enervating, although I love nth qld in early july. Hope to get to Tassie someday also as haven't seen as much of Oz as I'd like. Enjoy your lovely state! |

If you were really here a few weeks ago, you'd have encountered typical mid-winter temperatures (14-18) and quite a green Adelaide after above average winter rainfall. No 26 or 30 degree days since last autumn. Keep up the good work though, it's always good to have someone to laugh at. |

| Adelaide has beautiful mediteranian summers and I can say this because Adelaide was my home for 30 years before I began travelling the world,and I have spent 10 summers in the mediteranian so I can compare. Adelaide has a dry heat,not humid heat like in the eastern states.and it has a beautifull setting with a background of mountain ranges and facing the sea. |

problems with adelaide
big fish in small pond.
too many people who think they are elite and somehow part of the " A list " which then equates to
Bandwagoners - so many people want to be seen at all the special events
eg, tour down under, clipsal v8's, Adelaide Cup horse race. even though have zero interest in these events
one newspaper in adelaide , with links to all the major tv and radio networks
hence we have no independant thinking or non biased reporting.
the same advertising promotion about adelaide eg barossa ( how many times do we hear this ? )
Current state govt is a corrupt pig, problem is there is no better alternative
No decent career propsects , unless you work in the govt.
Manufacturing in adelaide is dying a slow death.All the talk our premier states about us being a
defense state etc is rubbish
Majority of the companies involved in this field are foreign and most employ a substantial amount of non locals ( due to so called skills shortage, which is really our prominent workers heading interstate for work )
Example
Kevin Foley wanted to import phillipino workers here ? why ? because it's cheap
The state is more worried about AFL football and cricket
The govt is more concerned about leaving a legacy when they get voted out of power ( the tramline and proposed hospital )
Don Dunstan left a legacy to Adelaide, and our Premier is trying to do the same ( albeit a bad legacy ) |

I so miss the lovely water, the lushious green meadows & the enless sound of wild birds singing in the trees & skies!!!!
