Town is too crowded, dirty and smelly.
Elizabeth is pretty daggy and in need of an overhaul.
Noarlunga is just too flipping far away from anything.
Vista possible, but it's a nightmare to get a bus there.
Why did you choose only these particular suburbs/areas? Are your mates looking to build a new house, because they would have to go even further North of Elizabeth or South of Noarlunga for that. |

Dont you know what state to live in Neecue??
I saw your post on Tassies board about Hobart, Kingston, & Cambridge!
If you are for real DONT move to Sa youll regret it, Im 37 have lived all around the city, suburbs & country areas all my life, and Im over it!!
I have had enough & im moving to Tassie...I suggest you follow up with your Tassie move!!
The weather here is hell on earth- always hot, never rains, geographicially boring & un-stimulating & the majority of people here are rude & abnoxious!! |

I've found most people are not rude and abnoxious - sure there always are those types everywhere you go, but I find most ppl are friendly and helpful...anyway, Para Hills is ok if you settle in the newer part (Gulfview Hts), I'd steer clear of Elizabeth,even if Barnsey did grow up there - things haven't really changed much out that way since the 60's... Noarlunga is a challenge distance wise.... the city is ok if you find a small apartment within walking distance - forget having a car in town... I'm sure there's plenty of nice spots around, you just need to find them. (A lot of older areas are being upgraded - like Western suburbs... older homes being knocked down and smaller villa types being built)... good luck! |

| I have lived in Elizabeth since 1960 yes 48 years off and on I grow up in Elizabeth went to school, got married, had a family I have tried to live else where, Like Wagga Wagga (NSW) Woodside (SA)and the biggest mistake of all Findon (SA) but always end up back in Elizabeth. Once Elizabeth gets in your blood you will not be happy living any where else to me Noarlunga is full of drugies, yahoos and dead beets Elizabeth has some problems but nothing like Noarlunga. As for Vista and the rest of the eastern subs. they think they are better than of Adelaide its a wonder they dont have border pertection stations to keep the rest of Adelide out |

Noarlunga is a dump and rundown now too, the newer areas are even further out like Aldinga and Sellicks, but you'd have to be a millionaire to afford the petrol to get out there and to work every day!
I'd feel safer walking through the Elizabeth Shopping centre carpark than I would at Noarlunga Centre, at least it has working lights! |

| none of the above, dont waste your time & money even coming to this backward state, its a hole, that I cant wait to leave in a few weeks!! You dont get enough rain here to fill an egg cup, its always hot, dusty & dry, so you wont need heating I suppose thats an advantage!! But you'll be running from one air-conditioned building/vehicle to escape the vile heat, you only have 1 season-Summer, people are abnoxious, is run by a mad dictatatoring premier Rann, has an odd, bizarre history of weird & sick crimes homicides etc....so I suggest you avoid Sa like the plague..... |
