That`s the cheap easy way ill_be, only trouble is, it doesn`t give you anything to tell lies about afterwards.

saves one having to throw all ones money into a hole in the water (that some refer to as a 'boat') & no problem getting burned to a crisp attempting to find some fish that was too stupid to recognize a hook

I have an unusual way of 'fishing' that means I invariably come home with exactly what I wanted. You see where I live there are thses places called 'fish shops'
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

LOL, these guys don't care, money is plentifull. One house is advertising a helipad with it and that's the latest fad. They fly to work in their own helicopter, one dealer had sold 80 machines in the first 1/2 of this year, beats driving.

My best mate is learning to fly a helicopter but he's welcome to it. I follow the 'terra firma' doctrine (the more firma, the less terra)

When my cousin was in the Army he inquired into doing a helicopter pilot`s course. Someone told him that before he`d even be considered he had to show he could tap dance, pat himself on the head, and pull himself, all at the one time.

Nahhhhh. Despite fifty million highrise apartment blocks the place is near impossible at any time of the year. Nobody from south east queensland would have anything to do with the hell-hole but there are still innumerable brain-damaged mexicans (thats anyone from south of the border) who flock to the place in an attempt to escape the over-crowding in Sydney & Melbourne. The poor fools don't realize they are bringing with then the very thing they are trying to escape (over-crowding). Then as I've said before, everyone under 25 (male, female & h o m o sexuals) spends their evenings imbibing as much grog as humanly possible without carking it from alcoholic poisoning. Riots are normal most evenings & the swine only make a half hearted attempt to stop them. Usually its a case of the pigs wading in to break a few heads & cart a few thugs off to the lockup in a paddy-wagon before they retire to the nearest MacDonalds to do the Homer Simpson trick with donuts. Nobody in their right mind ventures out after dark. I heard about a couple who drove through Surfers last week with the passenger side window open. Some drunk as a skunk hero staggered over and king-hit the female passenger 'just because he felt like punching someone'(no words had been exchanged). There were two drive-by shootings (at least that I heard about) last week, but thats about par for the course. The high-rise buildings shade the beaches from midday, but thats probably an advantage because it reduces the number of needle-stick injuries. There are more discarded hypodermics than sand on some of the beaches, especially between Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach. Other areas are starting to get the same problem as the high-rise ghettoes expand. Basically its a place to avoid like everyone has bubonic plague !!!!

Re:Best Places to live in Queensland??? Reply to this message
I just spent a couple of days there on business and its degenerated dramatically evenn since last time I was unfortunate enough to venture there. Drunk as a skunk juveniles wandering everywhere in all hours of darkness. Countless panes of glass broken between dusk the previous day & dawn the following together with the obligatory smashed stubbies, technicolour yawns & hypodermics littering every horizontal surface.
