I've posted this complaint consistently for some time now and as I said - if it were possible I would have reported this criminal - and next time I will. Anyone that endangers my kid's life - and other kids' - makes my blood boil, nearly as much as brain dead morons like yourself defending them.

The id1ot was speeding IN A SCHHOL ZONE NEXT TO A PARK.

Which bit of that are you defending?

No ... really ?

Yeah whatever jerkoff. Given you have no idea in general - specifically who I am or what I do you're just demonstrating what a *** you are. Only one thing worse than the ignorant morons who abuse their authority in this way - and that's braindead apologists like you. Go get a clue.

Hey Emucorp, how did you know the Police were chasing someone for speeding if you didn't catch up with them? Maybe they were in pursuit of someone who had just committed an armed hold up or some other serious offence? Just curious as to where you obtained that piece of information?

Re:Your experience with Queensland Polic ... Reply to this message
Simple - because I have seen them doing the exact same thing on and off on the same stretch of road for aroind 7 years. That translates to a dozen or more times that I've observed it. They're up and back treating the school zone like their own personal 1/4 mile strip. To date I've either been going the other way or not in a position to get a number or other details. I did make a call on the previous occasion but got the standard obfuscation and denial.

I'm sure you'll appreciate that I'm not keen to post where I live on a public message board. However if you think you have some practical suggestions please feel free to email or IM me.

I'm just wondering if it is the division where I work because I can assure you that I don't chase anyone through school zones but if it was occurring in my division I could certainly make some inquiries as I too am a parent. Are we talking Gold Coast Region or North?

Re:Your experience with Queensland Polic ... Reply to this message
My confession is ... I am offtopic as I don't live in Qld, I live in NSW. I'm reasonably sure that responsible police don't chase people through school zones but given the consistency of this activity over a long period of time I have to wonder. Surely the same guys are not driving "speed" duty for so long.

Re:Your experience with Queensland Polic ... Reply to this message
I thought it was a bit odd being in QLD after that high speed pursuit not far back where the schoolgirl was killed in a school zone by the female being pursued. The QPS have very strict guidelines here with regard to pursuits. I was involved in one on the M1 motorway and COMMS terminated it shortly after it began. Each officer involved was also interviewed and had to provide a statement in relation to the reasons the pursuit occurred initially. They were very thorough with the investigation.

Don't tell Lukey - that could never have happened in his paradigm.

But on a serious note that's precisely what I am scared of. You hear the car screaming past and I wince waiting for the crash.

Re:Your experience with Queensland Polic ... Reply to this message
I understand where you are coming from Emu although don't just blame the Police, also take into account the loser that they are chasing. If it wasn't for them, there would be no pursuit. I'm nt sure how the NSW system works but if someone wants to make a complaint about an officer in QLD, they attend the station and a senior officer takes the complaint. There is an offical form that is filled in and submitted.

"although don't just blame the Police, also take into account the loser that they are chasing"

Agreed and as I said earlier there must be a better way to patrol the zone. On the one hand they're clearly trying to enforce a limit but on the other they're breaking it in a dangerous way. On this occasion I couldn't even pinpoint a motorist speeding with the naked eye so it all seems rather excessive.

I'm having a coffee with a mate of mine who's a cop later this week and am going to get the lowdown from him - I'm heartily sick of it happening.

Let us know what the outcome is re: NSW Police protocol. It will be interesting to find out how they look upon pursuits down south.

And you're stupid enough to think that policy always = behavior.
