No it's just that I have never had a good experience with them. From the id1ots who showed no interest at all in the break-in at my house (instead commenting on how nice my clock and floorboards were) to the dropkicks that used to have drag races up the road from my house in Adelaide when I was a kid (Holden Hill Police Station) the w@nkers that I described earlier burning through the school zone, the knob that kneed me in the head when I did my shoelace up on the SCG, the clowns that I see day after day flouting all sorts of traffic and other rules certainly NOT all in the "execution of duty" - and lastly but not leastly their one-eyed "in denial" defenders that I've seen around here.
That said, a mate of mine is a cop ... he's a good bloke and has been around enough to be realistic about this kind of stuff. |

| You really are a silly lad - I have already said that the cameras were taking the whole assault in - I had hoped you would say that you would immediately get the footage and have a look instead of presuming the innocent to be guilty!! I guess my case is rested. |

We are the same age i guess from the 88 at the end of your name.
I could almost guarentee that if i told you some of the other stuff i have been through. It would probly shock you cause i am only a 20 year old female.
*mother bashed by police amongst us kids whilst lil bro gets charged for attempt sexual assult on a 28 yr old lady in his early teens 12 or so years old
* i lost my best friend in a car accident involving a drunk driver slamming into the car i was in when i was 16.
*raped by my best friends father at age of 7.. he was dead last i heard!
*my father arrested and taken away
* my now 18 year old brother in and out of jail since 13 cause he lost all faith in the law
*my lil sis now 17 has no respect for police mainly an under cover cop who told her she could suck him off and get away froma speeding offence on learners [ i was in the car he offered it to me too]
*I wont even call the cops in an emergancy cause i have no faith and trust in the police.
*I wasin and out of youth shelters since age 14, yet never spoke an officer even when i needed help..
I could go on for ever but i wont..
The law can kiss my a$$ as far as i am concerned

dnn, the thing is, 20 people can be involved (or witness to something), and you will get 20 different versions of the events. People see things differently to one another. That is why witnesses always get hammered in the witness box, cause the defence lawyer will always bring up the discrepancies btw witnesses versions of events to discredit their statement - eg 'you say that my client was wearing a dark brown hoodie?', 'yes, that is what I saw', 'well the previous witness in the stand said my client was wearing a blue windcheater, you weren't there at all were you, you didn't see the incident at all did you?'
Even coppers giving evidence of what they have seen will give slightly different versions, and we're supposed to be 'professional witnesses'.
When it comes to two people giving their versions of events in relation to an assault btw the two of them, the stories are often so wildly different that you wonder if they are talking about the same event!! Even when you have a witness to the assault (an independent one, not know to either party), their version of the incident will often be different to both the suspect and victim's versions. |

I am not talking about how many different versions of events there are, I have lived long enough on this earth to realise this.
What I am talking about is the corrupt manner in which the police conducted themselves. They perverted the course of justice and it doesn't matter what spin you put on it the facts remain and they remain for all and sundry to peruse and pick over. Clear and blatant. It is common knowledge, I'm afraid there's not wall-papering over this one. |

| ..and I will repeat here what I said in court, to the local member of parliament and to the newspapers I contacted - Thank God my son is not charged with murder because the obstacles that have been placed in our way trying to get this person charged and arrested with assault were beyond comprehension. Imagine trying to prove your innocence for murder. But then again I guess we only have to look at the case of Leanne Holland to see what really happens behind the scenes. |

I hear that in the UK its illegal to be on the mobile phone even when the car is stopped at the side of the road. I dont know how true that is but i wouldnt put it past a politician to legislate something like that. |
