No flouride in my rain water tank...my kids don't have a single cavity or filling.
But if I lived in the ever so great south east I'd want more than flouride in my recycled water. |

| same here nessa.. I grew up on tank water and my teeth are fine, as are my children's teeth. BUT that being said, we didn't grow up on a lot of sugary things and always brushed our teeth regularly, and my kids are the same. No soft drinks/cordials, and they only get the 100% fruit juice ( which has enough sugars ( fructose) in it as it is), and milk here. if they got all the sugary stuff it'd send them silly!! they'd OD on sugar pmsl. |

| How about this. Instead of wasting $35 million taxpayers dollars on lacing our water supply with a known deadly Toxic poison, why not spend the money and reintroduce the milk runs back in schools for the children. This is where every schoolchild received a small carton of milk to drink for little lunch. Our children would then receive a calcium intake (hopefully supplementing what they should be getting at home)that is dearly needed for their growing body's. Instead of something that can actually increase tooth decay. |

I have never drank fluoridated water. My teeth a fine. Why would I want to introduce this chemical (toxin) into my diet now so unnecessarily. I would be dosing myself on a chemical I do not need. It could'nt be doing me any good.
Your kid probably has black rotton teeth that is why you want it so bad. Why don't you get a flouride tablet from the chemist and put in in their Coke every night at dinner. |

How can it be a breach of service to correct statements that are demonstrably and provably wrong and delete it but allow the false statement to go without any correction?
So I repeat kateloves_cats 5 year olds with a mouth full of rotten teeth are baby bottle caries in the vast majority of cases and are not in any way cured or moderated by fluoridation which any honest health care worker will tell you.
To trot out pictures of kiddies and hospitalisation rates to remove such teeth and claim this as justification for fluoridation on the basis that this would not happen if the water was fluoridated is patently dishonest.
Now to the areas that meeopooling says have been fluoridated for so long Japan, Scandanavia and Canada.
Japan ceased fluoridation in 1972 after 20 years that saw an increase in dental caries of 7%.
Only one town in Finland has ever been fluoridated and this has also been discontinued.
Canada - Quebec is discontinuing fluoridation in 2008.
What is very significant to me as former vanguard proponents of fluoridation have come out against it notably Dr Hardy Limeback in Canada and Dr John Colquhoun in New Zealand questioning both it's safety and effectiveness. |

chuck....they won't do it - 3/4 of the kids think they are allergic to milk for starters.
Would have been okay if they didn't leave the milk in the sun fun 3 hours before they forced us to drink it...truly our milk was dropped off in the driveway before school started and we got it at 11 am. |

I am not a moron because you don't agree with my point of view.
You don't know me as does my husband, my child, friends, neighbours, work collegues etc. If I was called a moron in those aspects of my life then I would accept the title more kindly.
However, some little person sitting behind their computer screen giving out names.... hmmm only makes me the better party. |
