Correct.

ZERO interest what so ever.
Has got to be a queensland thing.

So be it then, Roadwork deaths with continue to rise at an exponential rate, until police/legislature does something about it instead of just revenue raising, which we all know will never happen

According to a Channel 7 report on Wednesday evening, the Blighters have suddenly discovered the fundraising potential of roadworks 40k zones & will reportedly be siting flash for cash units in 'certain' areas. The cynical among us will immediately recognize the significance of 'certain' areas, quite obviously sites with heavy traffic and hence high earning poential.

The police are getting paid to do this? Sounds like corruption. If it was in the public interest and a good use of resources they should be doing it without getting paid. If it isn't a good use of resources, they shouldn't be doing it. Either way its a form of institutionalised corruption.

Most roadworks sites with significant traffic low already have porkers blissfully asleep (unless of course they are watching porn movies theY confiscated from some mug). I've inquired about this practice & have been told 'its not their job to catch speedies'. Hmmmmmm
