Hello All
We are moving to Hervey Bay early next year, and I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about the place, what the people are like, the 'type' of people, and what the employment is like there?
Cheers |

| Herey bay is a very lovely area live, especially if you own a boat, as there as alot of bays and places to go and see, including inside fraser Isalnd and Kingfisher Bay Resort. It has a large Whale watching business based in the Urangan Marina, with many boat owners taking tourist out to see the whales. |

| Do they still have the "Princess of Whales" competition at Hervey Bay? - They used to have a line up of big heiffers lying on the beach, stopping the tide from comming in. |

Well its the nearest thing they can run to a beach girl competition in that part of the world. All the halfway photogenic females left town years ago, only things left are tubs of lard. |
