Good morning
I don't no if anyone may help me with this but back in 1990 or 1991 a young boy got killed in the middle of the intersection of a traffic light by crossing the road with his bike.
A red truck something called Arnots buscuts ran over the young kid. This was intersection of MAINS and klump road at mt gravatt brisbane australia.
I would really like to read that article about it if its ever been posted on the internet files.. I was a young one myself and when i went to school as i got off the bus there was someone laying on the middle of the road with a blanket over it... i could see the bike of the wheel all bent..
Since this day i can allways remember it. I would like to know exactly what happen and how old was the young person.. ( i presume a young student who was heading to school with his bike.)
How can i fine this sort of information ? |

I dont no but i can totaly not fine my answer on google.. too much stuff there of many ather things during 1990-1991
I was walking one spring early morning to school i believe it was and on the side was a planket covered of someone dead and course see the kids bike wheel all bent... one large RED new truck apears stoped on the side of the road.. the truck was red and had the brand name ARNOTS biscuts... at that time i presume these trucks came out brand new for thier brand... the death apears on the side when people cross the road intersection
blump road corner of MAINS road mt gravatt. Just across the road from clairvoux makillilope collage.
I wish i new in formation about that and what happend.. it apear that when i got off the bus i see this death there covered with a blanket in the middle of the road and it was i think 1990 or 1991 and it was around 715am
If i could fine this kind of information to read that would be good.. I keep thinking about it since then when i allways walk by that intersection remembering a student boy got killed and run over by a red truck from Arnots biscuts. |

Tag: if its the family i'm thinking of, I think the boy was h it on his way home from work sometime the night before.
I know his last name, as mentioned before, and I'm certain we are talking about same boy, I went to school in that area too.
And, want to keep this respectful for family, I do know his bro's name, but can't remember his.
Maybe inquire at Claivaux? |

Hi thanks for that.
I am presume it was a early morning accident. I got off the bus and there was a arnots biscut truck stop on the side of the road just where the boy or student was killed (in the middle of the road) blump road intersection of Main roard mt gravatt.
There was a planket covered over the accident and all i could see was abit of the wheel of the bike.
The wheel was bent just like as if a car ran over it obviously.
It was around 720am as i was heading to school with wthe rest. and just steps away someone laying on the road with a blanket cover it....
So i presume the accident happen moments hour or so before i got off the bus.
Since i allways used to go to school early 40 minutes or 1 hour before it opens just to be there right on time.
So the accident i presume was early morning and not everning if you think so. moments later police and all came to it but we where all students not aloud to look and we all stay in class...
Im presumeing that the Boy student was heading to school with his bike obviously.
On that morning as the usual progress begings with the pray thing for 1 minute before school starts... we end up hearing the teacher saying lets all pray a min for the tradegy that has happen this morning outside blump road
Clairvoux makillope collage is just minutes walk to where the accident apeared.
The year was 1990 or most likely 1991 some spring morning.
Since then i allways remember it... and sure my teacher said... I know some of you students in my class are dramatise of that accident and some of you may allways remember that accident forever.. years or some of you will forget... so yeah i rememebr and my teacher was right that some of us students will allways remember that accident there..
Well i dont exactly know how the accident happen but all i felt so sad seen someone DEAD with a blanket over it in the middle of the road and a arnots biscuit truck stoped on the side of the road. |

obviously the truck has run over the kid and the bike all bent. i could see half the wheel all bent really badly. when i see abit of that wheel from the distance it was soo horrific and terible......
Its interesting how i keep remembering that as i allways walk by that area where the kid got killed..... allways see where it was exactly and aniways i dont no how to fine information and what happen but yeah on that area theres allways a yellow paint dot where the accident apeared... not sure if that small yellow dot is just construction road work or such but sometimes its there..
I dont no if its there but yeah
Sad stuff for sure... and it was 1990 or 1991 early morning.. really 1991 wasnt that too long ago course i still look pretty young myself though.

ust letting you know that accident was not a night accident. atherwie the boy who got killed wouldnt be laying dead in the middle of the road with a blanket for hours on end..
Actually the boy seems to be attatch to the bike and the blanket covered over him and most of the bike and only could see one wheel half of it but all bent.
Really sad though....
Wonder if there are images of that or information if you know? Not that it is my concern and privacy matter but you would think it was prob on the news that morning like it allways apear on the local news at times. |
