FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN HOSPITAL. Reply to this message
If a football player had to go into a Hospital in the Sunshine Coast Area, would they have to go to Brisbane, or is the Very Much Essential Football Stadium going to provide Medical Care to Foot Ballers only.
We need Hospitals more than FOOTBALL STADIUMS!!!

I agree totally ... there shouldn't be one cent of taxpayers money expended on any footbrawl, thugby or sockher facilities at ANY time, let alone when the health department is in such a state. Mind you it would be worth sacking 90% of the pen pushers, biro pilots & mouse jockeys as well.

I also agree that our Tax payers money shoud go into the Health System, and I agree that many of the "Pen Pushers " & "Mouse Monkeys" should be sacked, maybe the Polatitions who are involved with these Departments should also be sacked.
It is about time things were don to improve our sick Health System.

Suncorp Stadium is a typical example of this, the Beatie Govet only were interested in providing this Stadium, no mention about Hospitals, maybe one day they will get their requirements in order , I wonder !

If the politicians didn't spend our money on 'arty farty' then the producers of that crap would be on the dole. Personally I think they should both be compelled to do something more useful, like sweeping the streets.

I guess some would say an advanced society must support those who are incapable of supporting themselves. Most public servants & virtually all politicians fit into this category. The average bureaucrat would be totally unemployable in the private sector & I've yet to meet a politician with even half a clue what an honest days work involves.

I wish I could live in a city full of hospitals, prisons and schools.

No arts, culture, sport etc. necessary.

The only way that will happen is when we abolish politics. Those meatheads fund all the useless stuff for their own enjoyment.

Sounds just like all Australian capital cities. Brisbane wasn't a bad place to live before all these moronic politicians decided we needed to cram as many mexicans in as humanly possible but its fast becoming even worse than Sydney or Melbourne. Apart from the footbrawl cathedral there have been no significant infrastructure works for 20 years & the Blighted government is now far too broke to do anything significant. Despite this, the wicked witch intends to import another half million sardines in the next five years to occupy her ULDA ghettoes. At least we won't have urban traffic incidents because traffic will be gridlocked 24 x 7 between the NSW border and Gympie.

Very true, and hospitals are FAR worse off than the sheeple realize too. Once you could go to outpatients dept & be seen within an hour. These days its usually 6 - 8 hours for urgent matters & 12 - 14 for stuff that doesn't matter as much. This will only get worse while stupid politicians persist in packing ever more sardines into the can. Forget about more hospitals ... the Blighted government would have trouble paying for a daily newspaper !!!!

Health care is a worldwide issue. Why do you think there is something unique about Queensland. It is and has been a problem whoever is in government. We get the system and social assets that reflect our willingness to pay taxes to pay for them. And for decades the mantra has been lower taxes. We get what we deserve.

The reason I said its a Queensland problem is because thats where I live. Before the stupid politicians & bureaucrats stuffed it up, we had an extremely good health system funded by the idiots that buy Golden Casket lottery tickets.
I agree that health is in a sad state everywhere & the prime reason is the ratio of pen pushers, biro pilots & mouse jockeys to clinical staff.

Amazing! - Is it humanly possible not to regognise the mismanagement of this Labor Govt? Our health system has spiraled out of control in recent years to the point where even the briliant staff are unable to plug the gaps.

This Government has to it`s name, the unenviable "achievement" of sending the State broke during a record boom period.

aussiearisen, it makes no sense to attribute blame to this particular government if the issue is not unique to this particular government.

Governments generally are guilty of economic management. When two thirds of a department are non-productive lame-brains, how can the department ever hope to be efficient ?? Its hardly surprising that the problem is international in scope because the incidence of educated idiot MBA types is also international in scope.
