| There is no water crisis nor ever has been. The only'crisis' is to do with lack of intelligence on the part of elected & unelected officials. I have a 425m2 block (16 perches for wrinklies) & 18000 litre storage. I don't make any attempt to conserve water, NEVER have less than two 20 minute showers per day, wash my cars whenever I wish, water the garden whenever I wish, have had the mains supply off for over four years & have never got lower than 60% tank capacity. For the information of those who 'don't have room for a tank', mine are above ground & unobtrusive to the point of being invisible without concerted search. |
