That the very next day after Frazer announced he was cutting the fuel sub at the end of the month the servos in Mackay started jacking their prices up. Like I mean to say, not just a nibble, but by 10c a litre for ULP.
Now all the servos have followed suit and all have jacked their diesel prices up by 4c a litre as well.
Now here we go, so at the end of the month it's going up another 8c a litre, not bad eh?

Bet our NSW guys won't be crossing over for the cheap fuel. I hope all the interstate truckies who went home with tanks full of our cheap fuel also boycott the place ----that'll teach them |

| The fuel here at the moment is 134c a litre in the country. The local store owner cannot even fill his car up at the price he has to pay plus transport, so he fill up when he goes to hobart for 118c-124c litre |

The effects will flow on throughout the whole community in regional towns and cities ,but as we all know too well these areas dont matter ,as the "important"area is from the NSW border to the Sunshine coast west to Toowoomba.
If you choose to live outside that region then you dont count and will eventually move to the southeast.(in their dreams) |

| It would be nice if there was an alternative, such as public transport. I guess its easy to overlook that if you live in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Oh well, she wont be around forever, lets just hope she does not do too much more damage. |

| Poblic transport in Brisbane isn't quite aa good as it appears. Sure there are plenty of buses running around but 90% of them sail past with passengers stacked to the roof. Usually catching a bus means waiting an hour or more before one stops. |
