As the title suggests, where should we put this convited pedophile?
Some would suggest back in goal. But unless he commits a crime, he's free man :-(
Others will say 'Hell' is where he belongs (He will get there one day).
I reckon he should be place somewhere in the far west of Queensland as possible.
In a very isolated farm house where it would take a couple of days of walking to get anywhere.
Give him enough food, water plus other items so he can grow his own food to make himself self sufficient.
And NO human contact whatsoever!
What are your ideas?
Where should he go? |

In the middle of the city were no children live. Or possibly next door to the judge that let him off.
I can not fathom why people keep suggesting children living in the rural areas are less valuable than urban children. Is it okay if the weirdo does country kids? |

| how about we put him in the middle of the northern territory with just enough water to last for a day! surround him with all those poisonous snakes and evil things that'll bite him and kill him.....and if that don't work, well lets just chop his dyck off and all the little children will be safe..... |

| If the bleeding hearts and judges are so sure Dennis Ferguson will not re-offend, put him in their neighbourhood for a year to prove it!! Or better still, invest 50cents in a bullet... |

| They should just kill him. He is a sick b*stard and will always be a threat to little kids. He is not worthy of police protection. And that judge who released him - well maybe he is a pedo also who hasn't been caught yet! |

Leave him where he is but remove the Police protection. Or pay a fortune to accommodate him in jail & rely on the crims to dispense justice & the will of the people. Someone`s going to nail him anyway but we can`t rely on our "justice" system to do it.
Why are we spending so much on this thing while the needs of worthy people are being denied? What makes Ferguson so special that we lavish so much on him? |

| I think the government needs to build shared living house that has lots of rooms, within the prison grounds. This way we will have a place to put these people like Dennis and he will be much safer too. It doesn't mean he will have to be locked up there and is free to come and go, its just gets him living out of the community. |

I understand that there is an empty pit with a trap door vacant in Bagdad!
Seriously, the house on prison grounds sounds like a good idea. he cannot ever expect that he will have the freedom that others have in this country. He will be dogged no matter where he lives so he may as well be somewhere safe and looked after at minimal cost. $365K pa plus the cost of all all the police etc is a joke |

I would be the very first person to stand up and demand punishment for any person that breaks the laws of the land, and I certainly feel no warmth toward Ferguson and his kind, but I also recognise that when any person has served their punishment they have the right to be freed and live wherever they choose provided they do not re-offend, and if they do re-offend, no matter for whatever crime, they should be punished once again accordingly.
If we as a nation felt the need to cause anyone that has served their punishment for a crime to remain locked up beyond that period, or to be cast out from society as everyone calls for in cases such as these we would have our prisons overflowing more than they do already, and half of Australia filled up with such outcasts.
Where do you draw the line in the sand?
Would you wish to see the same rules of outcast apply to yourself, or any member of your own family that has spent any time imprisoned treated the same way by everyone?
It would not matter if they had spent one single day, or forty years behind bars before being eligable for release because they would still be exgoalbait in your eyes, so why should they be seen as any different upon release?
Just think about it before calling out like a redneck lynching party because you could so easily find yourself the next one that everyone wants to make disappear as being called for here if we all start thinking and acting as you wish to, and are doing.
And before you throw back the question to me "Would you want Ferguson living near you?" my answer is that I won't give a damn just as long as he lives his future life within the law.
I recognise that there are hundreds of sex offenders living amoung the general population everyday without all this carry on surruonding them, and you don't even know they are there unless something happens to bring your attention to them.
Ferguson has the legal and free right to live somewhere, no matter what you or I like or not. |

Not so Move_Forward because nearly every prison in this land is within, or very close to one community or another, so what would your suggestion achieve?
OK, you could call for a town to be built out in the arze end of nowhere to put such people in as someone else suggested here, but then the tax payers would have to foot the bill for every single one of them, and all their needs for the rest of their lives, so that idea gets flushed down the tube too.
Or do you want to turn them lose in the middle of the desert somewhere and let them try and fend for themselves before they die in a short time?
Yes? well if so you are no better, if not worse than those you despise so much for their previous crimes as you will be advocating cold murder then.
There is no simple solution so the courts etc. are forced into taking the steps they have done and turn the Fergusons of this country back into the general community as is their legal and human rights. |

I am in complete agreement with you stephanofmoorna. Before I start, I'll let you know that I have a young son who is the sun and moon in my sky. I would protect with with my life.
However, I have been utterly disgusted by the cowardly, hysterical and bulllying behaviour of the mobs which are hounding Dennis. Yes, as a child molestor, he has committed the most disgusting crime, however he has done his time and as a human being, has the rights of a free man and the right to begin a new life. I believe the media have fuelled this frenzy against Dennis, why have other sex offenders not been mobbed in this manner...the priests and politicians and people who have been placed in positions of trust and power who sexually assault children? Should they not be dealt a far greater punishment than those offenders who are not in positions of trust? Why are people not mobbing them at their doors and driving them out of their neighbourhoods? Perhaps because they are not such a weak easy target as Dennis, who is not so intelligent, powerful or wealthy? Possibly because the media haven't chosen to fuel their stories. Dennis has been made the unfortunate face of all child molestors, the unknown ones within your neighbourhood, the close family members, the high profile ones... The behaviour of the communities has been reminiscent of the hounding of the Jewish people by the Hitlers regime, an example of the power of mass hysteria.
Although Dennis disgusts me, you animals mobbing him and carrying on like idiots disgust me more. |

I know that over in the USA (Land of the Free), one particular state (do not know which one)has a simple solution to Pedophiles.
Commit the first crime, they go to Goal for a specific period of time.
Commit the second crime, they die in Goal!
I do not know If Ferguson has been released before and has committed crimes. But if he did, then the judge(s) should have that into account.
As far as I know, he has done his time in Goal.
lindsay25is says "Yes, as a child molester, he has committed the most disgusting crime, however he has done his time and as a human being, has the rights of a free man and the right to begin a new life."
But has he not refused to undergo counseling or treatment?
From what I have heard, he is unrepentant. I could be wrong.
"why have other sex offenders not been mobbed in this manner...the priests and politicians and people who have been placed in positions of trust and power who sexually assault children? That's because they are protected by a "system" of lies and deceit form various State Governments and Organ1sations.
I only started this thread to see where we could put him so he can out of every body's hair. And especially away from children. |
