Hi,
My wife and I would like very much to take DoCS QLD to court, for making false allegations and for their treatment of us and our family over the removal of our granddaughter.It is fairly involved, however I can say this, that DoCS will say whatever, write whatever and will lie to the court. We have the proof of their lies, evidence of false allegations, yet no one will listen. I contacted Legal Aid and a solicitor rang me, she was no help, only to say that Legal Aid would not fund any court proceedings against DoCS. So we are st---ed well and truly. It would cost us $350.00 dollars an hour for a private solicitor. DoCS have unlimited resources, we would lose our home.

Hi,i have just settled out of court against the department of childs services, after a 7 year battle, my complaint ended up with the CMC, whom requested a report and liability was proven.Terms of payment are that i can not disclose the amount that i received, but i can still tell my story.My advice to anyone tryin to get justice is to keep fighting,keep going to a higher authority until someone listens and they request action for you.Yes the government will go to any lengths to stop you, but you can win in the end.Part of closure for me is to now write a book, and that is what i intend to do.DONT GIVE UP.

The day that DoCS (The Department of Child safety) took my little boy away.

I gave Luke that silver childrens size drum kit the day they took him away. That is what reminded me that the woman from the Department of Child Safety was watching when we filmed this. I wanted to show her how good he was. At this stage I had him singing, playing piano, guitar and harmonica every day and he had begun to <a href="http://lukesarmy.co m/node/119?pid=11">draw.< /a>

His mum had gone missing for a week and Luke and I enjoyed each others company more than anything in the world. On the last morning when he woke up, he started talking like I had never seen him talk before, neither would I see him talking so happily again. He was taken from me five minutes after <a href="http://www.youtube. com/watch?v=qyUJGFOTxX0&f eature=channel_page">this video.</a>

The child safety woman did not give a reason for anything. She took him from his sleep, I was religous about his midday nap. The only people who ever woke him up, ever, during his midday nap was child safety. Twice.

He was taken and put with his mother in housing supplied by some emergency housing place. They took him despite his mothers long list of complaints from the public about the neglect of Lukes two older siblings, both born 7 years apart from each other.
In fact one womans shelter had reported her to DoCS and stated that all of her money was spent on Drugs and Alcohol and they were forced to feed the children. She was so drunk she asked them to ring an ambulance because she couldnt feel her legs.
Another womans shelter kicked her out on the first night because she got so drunk. Now on this day when they took Luke away I was fine, as you see in the video I did with Luke where I played piano and Luke sang and also played piano.
Once they rang me and asked me if I had been giving him lollies or soft drinks. I told them I always brought fruit and childrens drinks for the visits and enquired as to why they wo ...

I kissed him and tried to act happy so as not to upset him, but I was worried sick throughout the whole visit about him going back to that house, especially with the scratches on his face. When I mentioned the scratches to the visit supervisor and informed her he was always bruised and scratched, even burnt, she told me he had scratched his own face, that is what his foster carer had told her.
My suspicion is the old lady let them all abuse my little baby and turned a blind eye to it. Luke drove off in the back of the child safety car and I collapsed to the ground in front of the playground and cried and cried and cried.
I kept telling people I knew I was never going to see him again. I was standing on the shore and looking out to sea. He was in a boat drifting further and further out to see screaming "DADDY, DADDY."
I did a drawing for him but I was telling people "I know I am never going to get to give it to him."
That is how strong the bond was between me and Luke. I cried that whole week til I got the call that Luke was in intensive care.
When they finally let me in to see him, half his brain was dead because he had been left lying so long with a fractured skull. He was in a coma, on morphein, but when I said "Lukey, Daddy's here", a tear came out of his eye.
I watched over the course of six days as Luke's brain died off and he lost control of each organ. After the third day they wanted to turn off the machines as he was still not breathing on his own, and had not done since his arrival at hospital.

didn't you read your affidavit? child safety may have taken him, but a magistrate must have agreed he was in need of protection from you and/or the child's mother???

and of course he was! most kids cry to stay with their parents, even the most abusive ones.

child safety take kids from unsafe situations. that is what they do. do they always get it right? probably not. do bad things happen to kids in care? sadly, they sometimes do (read the CMC enquiry).... but this doesn't negate all the good that child safety do to keep kids safe from harm.

look, i don't know anything about your situation, and i'm really sorry you lost your son - it must have been awful. i hope you find peace, whatever that takes.

I have a witness, there was no paperwork and no reason to take him. The child safety officer stood beside the man taking this last video of my with my son, then put him in a unit alone with a woman who had a five year history with child safety for neglect of her children.

While the people in Docs working on the front line so to speak come across a situation that needs immediate attention they cant . It has to go thru many depts before they are allowed to take action .So by the time it reaches the last pencill pushers desk it's usually too late but it's the workers on the front line who cop the flac .The pencill pushes dont care so long as they take home their wage at the end of the month for doing nothing they are happy .So dont go blameing the Docs people who you meet and see it's the lazy money grubbing ones you dont (and never will see) who are to blame for kids in strife .
Remember if a Docs worker goes against the rules he/she will be sacked or at least demoted . The pencill pushers are constantlly on the lookout for those who act on their own accord and then they make a spectacle out of them .
I have this information from the hores mouth so to speak .If they sacked the faceless wonders and got rid of a couple of ussless depts Docs would start working smoothly and Docs would be able to step in and sort out a problem instead of having to wait days or weeks for Gov approval .And thats the truth of the matter .
