Caz boys leader dead. Reply to this message
NT News reported today (4-3-08) that the leader of the Caz boys has been killed after being run over by a taxi. He had been celebrating his 19th birthday and became so drunk he passed out in the middle of the road. He has been before the court many times over the last few years including for allegedly throwing stones at taxis.

Yep true story - maybe better to supply taxi's with nice bull bars instead of cabin camera's.
A much better judicial result! no lawyers money grab.

Territory police are claiming success in tackling youth crime and anti-social behaviour in the northern suburbs during the school holidays.

About 50 young people were arrested during the past eight weeks, some more than once.

The assistant commissioner Grahame Kelly says 25 young people were found on the streets one night and the average age was 12.

He says all the children known as the 'Caz Boys' have now been arrested, but there's still a problem police will target.

"Police have never ever denied that there is a problem with groups of youths in the northern suburb at any time. We know there's a problem and that sort of behaviour is behaviour that we're going to target and we'll continue to target. And people should get the message that we are not going to let people get away with these sorts of behaviours."

Police are urging parents to keep tabs on their children to help stop youth crime.

"One of our primary strategies during the operation was delivering kids home. Often they'd say to police 'No, we're staying around at my mate's place'. And the response of the police was 'You might have been, but you're going home to mum and dad and we're going to tell mum and dad where we found you'."

you believe the same out of touch pathetic judges we have would have put him in Gaol? This is one onthe very few places where you can get bail and less than life for murder, but only if you fall into a certain bandwidth of offender.Seems he died because he was less than Intelligent and believed he could do whatever he wanted and get away with it, a mindset reinforced by the judiciary.

under the 3 strikes you're in the judges did not have the final say.
wellfare has a lot to answer for with these kids getting the idea they are not responsible for their own actions and that they have no responsibility to the society we live in/by.
