Is Racism a Mental Illness?
Yes
It can be a delusional symptom of psychotic disorders
Alvin F Poussaint, Professor of psychiatry

To continue perceiving extreme racism as normative and not pathologic is to lend it legitimacy. Clearly, anyone who scapegoats a whole group of people and seeks to eliminate them to resolve his or her internal conflicts meets criteria for a delusional disorder, a major psychiatric illness.

By Ropes;

Clearly, anyone who scapegoats a whole group of people and seeks to eliminate them to resolve his or her internal conflicts meets criteria for a delusional disorder, a major psychiatric illness.

~~

Ropes is continually informing us that all white Australians are racists.
The above psychological description obviously fits Ropes to a tee. A major psychiatric illness would help explain his rantings. Especially his claim that Ab evolved in OZ and did not 'come out of Africa', as the scientific fraternity has shown.

Re:The Real Evolution Theory Reply to this message
I don't know why you bother here Ropes with this nonsense. There may be some pseudo scientists, and assorted odd bods who have written about that, however it is not recognised as having any credibility whatsoever within the genuine scientific community.

Your limited capabilities do not seem to allow you to understand that the oldest continent/land mass, does not necessarily correlate with the earliest human forms.

""According to the latest edition of Scientific American it now seems that we have evidence of an Earth land mass dating back to at least 4.4 bya. Tho oldest intact rock is found in Canada and dates back to 4 bya; however, zircon crystals found in Western Australia date back to 4.4 bya. Because these crystals have a high oxygen isotope level, only found in cooler areas than magma, it is thought they that they were formed under liquid water and low temperature conditions on the surface of the Earth. This pushes the age of Earth's known initial landmass back by "at least 400 million years earlier than the oldest known existing sedimentary rocks, those at Isua, Greenland [3.8 bya]". So the Earth may have cooled in merely 100 million years and formed a landmass or landmasses as early as 4.4 bya.
"A Cool Early Earth," by Jogn W. Valley, Scientific American, Oct. 2005, pp. 59-63.""

Ab people are not the oldest humans by a long stretch. They have just been here for a long time.

Primates evolved in Africa, not Australia, and they evolved, along different lines, into humans there.

I can just imagine what it's like at your place when kids ask you a scientific question.
For god's sake son, start giving them the correct answers.

Re:The Real Evolution Theory Reply to this message
In 1974, the discovery of Mungo Man turned the conventional theory of human evolution upside-down. Mungo Man was a hominin who is estimated to have died 62,000 years ago, and was ritually buried with his hands covering his p e n i s . Anatomically, Mungo Man's bones were distinct from other human skeletons being unearthed in Australia. Unlike the younger skeletons that had big-brows and thick-skulls, Mungo Man's skeleton was finer, and more like modern humans.

Re:The Real Evolution Theory Reply to this message
""In 1974, the discovery of Mungo Man turned the conventional theory of human evolution upside-down.""

No it did not. And today, this is how it is seen.

Paleo-anthropologist Alan Thorne claimed that the Mungo remains dated to 60,000 years ago.
However in 2003, Jim Bowler, a geomorphologist, and the bloke who found the Mungo remains, decided to reanalyse his original samples.
After 3 years work, Bowlers team published revised ages for Mungo Man, and Woman, to about 40,000 years old, in the British scientific journal Nature.

Furthermore, Mungo man is now considered a H0m0 Sapiens, the same as you and me.

"The one consensus among paleoanthropoligits is that ALL Australia's prehistoric human remains are H0m0 sapiens and ancestral to modern Aborigines."

Racism is caused by fear

In some cases racism can generate such an enormous amount of anger that it can cause a war. The thing that causes this anger is mainly fear. Fear that the stranger will take your house, your job, your wife. You don’t know who this stranger is, and he doesn’t know you. To fight racism we have to get to know each other and learn more about each other’s cultures. We have got to share each other’s joys, but also learn that we often have the same problems and worries.

Re:The Real Evolution Theory Reply to this message
Blood grouping shows Ab belong nearly exclusively to A and O, with only a little B in the far north, where it is an import from new Guinea and Indonesia.
They are perhaps the only racial group in the world completly lacking the S blood group antigen.
Tellingly, in blood groups Ab resemble Caucasians; Europeans are mainly A and O whereas B is more characteristic of Asia.
This evidence supports the Out of Africa scenario based on DNA.

Re:The Real Evolution Theory Reply to this message
The conventional view of human evolution and how early man colonised the world has been thrown into doubt by a series of stunning palaeontological discoveries suggesting that Africa was not the sole cradle of humankind. Scientists have found a handful of ancient human skulls at an archaeological site two hours from the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, that suggest a Eurasian chapter in the long evolutionary story of man.

The skulls, jawbones and fragments of limb bones suggest that our ancient human ancestors migrated out of Africa far earlier than previously thought and spent a long evolutionary interlude in Eurasia – before moving back into Africa to complete the story of man.

Experts believe fossilised bones unearthed at the medieval village of Dmanisi in the foothills of the Caucuses, and dated to about 1.8 million years ago, are the oldest indisputable remains of humans discovered outside of Africa.

Which would make one wonder why they stopped doing stuff to benefit themselves.

By Ropes, being philosophical;

"I once was blind....."

~~~~~
Ahhh, yes. There are none so blind as those who will not see. Could've been penned for you Ropes.
Or perhaps he is referring to him being off his face, like when he used to be a drunk.
