and i repeat, YOU CAN'T GET BLACK FROM WHITE. those with knowledge of the subject (which you lack) will tell you that ,but your ignorance relies on information that has not been proved.
you avoid the information that does not agree with your opinions, edit the text and add a few words of your own and call it yours. your "experts" in the field are influenced by the racist idea that white people are superior to black.
you use these boards to promote the intelligence you think you have above all others, but your plagiarism of information from sites that only put forward one opinion has caught you out as a fool clutching at straws |

Well sorry to disappoint you old boy but it is my theory. I espoused this theory a while ago (a couple of months I think) when you started this nonsense about the original humans being black. The fact that scientists had already known this, is irrelevant. I did not know that when I first came up with it. Had I known it back then I would have posted their posts on it to back me up. I didn't, because I didn't know back then that it was already scientific knowledge.
As for you 'finding' the same site as I did, I gave you the name of it, remember, yesterday, after I decided to look up if there was anything scientific on the subject.
I wrote;

And I reiterate, I had never thought about this subject until you raised it a few months or so ago. However it is just so obvious that melanin had to evolve, like everything else had to, so therefore the first humans, who evolved from hair covered primates, would have had white skin under their fur. And yesterday is the first time I looked it up on the net. I don't tell lies son, that's why you have never bested me here.

Abstract Humans skin is the most visible aspect of the human phenotype. It is distinguished mainly by its naked appearance, greatly enhanced abilities to dissipate body heat through sweating, and the great range of genetically determined skin colors present within a single species. Many aspects of the evolution of human skin and skin color can be reconstructed using comparative anatomy, physiology, and genomics. Enhancement of thermal sweating was a key innovation in human evolution that allowed maintenance of homeostasis (including constant brain temperature) during sustained physical activity in hot environments. Dark skin evolved pari passu with the loss of body hair and was the original state for the genus h0m0 . Melanin pigmentation is adaptive and has been maintained by natural selection. Because of its evolutionary lability, skin color phenotype is useless as a unique marker of genetic identity. In recent prehistory, humans became adept at protecting themselves from the environment through clothing and shelter, thus reducing the scope for the action of natural selection on human skin.

In the above it clearly means dark skin evolved as hair loss increased. Evolved is the key word here.

another alternative is to go straight to the Roper Gulf Shire HQ in Katherine to lodge your bogus complaints.
give Michael Berto a call, wait a minute that wont work will it lone ranger, seeing as Michael Berto is indigenous and your hate of indigenous people wouldn't make for a civil discussion.

Ropes continues to say that when you are playing with crayons, you can't make black from white. True, however playing with crayons and paints has nothing at all to do with evolutionary science I'm afraid.
However there is another example of white making black which Ropes seems to have forgot about. ME. I am white, but I have been making black kids for years, over 40 to be exact.
PS, I notice you have stopped calling the scientists who explain why the first humans were white, racists. That's a good start. Now get onto your white hate sites on the net and tell them your new found facts. That's a good boy. Let us know what they said. |

Actually I am quite happy with the way that sentence is structured. In fact, anyone who would think the 40 was referring to how many children I had made, like you have 'pretended' to do, does not have a good grasp of the English language. And you fit that bill.
I have never claimed to write perfect English, it is only you who mention it all the time. I guess the little skill I do have makes you feel inadequate though in that department, too.

Regarding your wife, I believe I said I may have met her, or something along those lines, because I had some girlfriends from Roper 30 odd years ago. But that was only after you started things off. You attack me here and I'll come back at you.
And yes, most of my life I worked as a stockman, in different parts of the NT, and from the 60's.
Why do you need to know where? How would it benefit you having that info? With your history of searching out personal info on me, why would I supply anything for you?
As for your last two paragraphs, you will see it that way, but that's not the way I see it.
From day one you have tried to get info on me. You claimed you had journo friends in Darwin, even from the NT NEWS I think you said, who had given you personal info about me.
Sometimes Ropes I think you may be just an ordinary bloke, but then you start again with some absurd apologist nonsense about Ab's, or lately, black Africans.

don't know where you get your (mis)information from, but i live here so i think i have a better idea of the average temperatures in my area.
last year, and the previous we had temperatures as high as 48 deg over a two month period. temperature on it's own is not an indication of the extreme heat, humidity is factored in as well.
so it goes to say that pale skin office boys would be dropping like flies |
