Jacko you should realise by now that it's all our fault. The aboriginals were a proud people before Cook and those naughty Poms invaded. We are the one's who introduced modern technology such as petrol and glue to them so it has to be our fault. We are also the one's who tried to stop them from beating their wives and molesting their own kids. Yes it's all out fault. We should have left them in the stone age as they are obviously not suitable to live in the modern society. |

Imagine, if captain chook and his merry men came and saw the Aborigines, then decided "oh well, we'll just have to go elsewhere"...
Do you really think the aboriginals would still be in charge of the place, nobly painting handprints on cave walls and stuff? Its hard to imagine how the would have defended the place against the Japanese during world war 2, for example.
Whats done is done. It wasnt fair, and it would happen differently in todays world. But that was how the world worked in those days.
Theres not a great deal to be gained by sitting around, whinging and moaning about how history played out, and what a raw deal you are getting. Equally, we should be trying to find ways of moving forward, and not simply insulting a marginalised and antisocial minority. |

Basically it's time they either put up or shut up. Preferably both so we would no longer have to put up with Aboriginal apologists like Steve who is doing nothing then protecting his own livelihood. |

A group of Indigenous men say they are angry about the way they have been portrayed in the media since the federal intervention in the Northern Territory began.
The group held a meeting at Banatjarl, near Katherine, 300 kilometres south of Darwin, last week.
The executive officer of the Northern Territory's Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance, John Patterson, was at the meeting.
He says recent comments made in the media which suggested Aboriginal leaders were protecting paedophiles were insulting and without foundation.
"They were labelling and stereotyping those people [who] have held leadership positions as covering-up paedophiles, not reporting child sexual abuse, that we're bullies, that we're intimidating our own people, which is totally unfounded and unsubstantiated," he said.
"And these are things that Aboriginal men are totally stressed about."
He says the proscribed area signs that have been posted near Aboriginal communities as part of the federal intervention should be removed.
The government needs to make a stronger effort to engage with the community, he adds.
"Not people coming in and spending a day or two with small groups or specific individuals, but make an attempt to call big community meetings," he said.
"Remunerate people for giving their advice and knowledge and information."

based on scientific evidence that points to the fact that the earliest people were black, all other shades are mutations. It is a well-known and rather widely accepted scientific theory, with a lot of supporting evidence, that the reason that people's skin became lighter as they moved further north, and thus further away from the equator and it's warmer temperatures, is the fact that since people had to cover more skin to stay warm, and could not spend as much time outdoors, that their skin had to become lighter over the centuries, in order for their bodies to absorb enough sunlight to make enough vitamin d in order to survive. Other physical features that are commonly associated with certain shades of skin, are also adaptations to better survive in varied environments - i.e. people whose ancestors have lived for several hundred years or longer in high mountainous, snowy areas in certain Asian regions, may have eyes that are more slanted because it helped to protect their eyes somewhat from the bright sun and its reflection off of the snow caps.
so, basically, the point is, Jesus was NOT white, and Adam and Eve were most probably black. And, if you want to get technical about it, white people are mutations, and, furthermore, as I want to say to the white supremacist, wanabe members of the KKK, who call themselves Christians, those kind of people need to wake up, because here's the real shocker - to all you lovers of pure breed whites, we're all mutations; as far as I'm concerned, and you've technically got what you so racistly call black blood running through your veins. As for his 'scientific evidence' that the earliest people were black, and later some became white, I have already debunked that nonsense.
But poor old Ropes just can't help himself and in his ignorance has re-posted his wish list. So again I will crap on it, so to speak.
The reason most people from the equator regions (high sunlight areas) have dark skin is because of the amount of melanin which has evolved in their skin. This protects against ultra violet rays from sunlight which can cause skin cancer melanomas etc.
However, when black people move to low sunlight areas they eventually evolve lighter skin, (less melanin) which can better absorb sunlight and make vitamin D.
My previously posted theory was that melanin had to evolve first, and that the first humans would not have had large amounts of it in the beginning because it had to evolve first. Especially considering that our early ancestors were hairy, apes etc, who would not need much melanin under their hair.
The following, from Human Skin Colour, (Google), supports my theory.
The evolution of the different skin tones is thought to have occurred as follows: the haired primate ancestors of humans, like modern great apes, had light skin under their hair. When Hominids evolved relative hairlessness (the most likely function of which was to facilitate perspiration), they evolved dark skin, which was needed to prevent low folate levels since they lived in sun-rich Africa. When humans migrated to less sun-intensive regions in the north, low vitamin D3 levels became a problem and light skin color re-emerged.

And we are not mutations at all. We are the real deal. The original white humans evolved melanin and become black skinned. Our ab's would only have become black again after they migrated to Australia, and our sunny northern climate.
So, technically son, all black people, including our Ab's, have white blood running through their veins, just like you do.

Ha ha. As if the tools used by painters to create colours had anything to do with human evolution. What a dope.
Ropey, read the following, I'll try and explain in simple language for you.
We all started white as melanin had not evolved, because we evolved from hairy primates who didn't need it. Their hair protected them from UV rays. Got that numbskull.
So we evolved melanin to protect us from UV rays in that climate and we became black.
Then we migrated north, 'out of Africa', and into cooler climes which had less strong sunlight. As people migrated east some became darker again as they moved into hotter areas with more sunlight, like India. Over time some migrated further east to the islands of what is now Indonesia, and they had now evolved into a light tan colour, just like the people who still live there.
Some of these people accidentally arrived in northern Australia, a hot land with lot's of strong sunlight. Their skin colour evolved again from light tan to black, the colour our Ab's still are today, to counter the high level of ultra violet light.
So Ropes, put away your crayons and paints son, they have nothing at all to do with the evolution of melanin in skin.
Oh! What would we do without you for a laugh. You take the cake with your ignorance of science.
And I would be flattered if it had been anyone else but you who thinks I would have needed some letters after my name to have worked out that originally we were white, not black. |

Ah yes in deed. Loved his post some time ago (never saw it myself but was sent to me) stating that 70,000 year old cave paintings were found in WA. It's amazing how people will delude themselves into believing anything that supports their childlike argument.
But I guess it all comes down to doing what you can to keep yourself in a nice cushy job. Even if that involves lying to yourself on so many levels |
