This really does prove your total lack of understanding of the whole issue and the science involved. Genetics scientists used the male chromosome because using current technology it's easier to identify the characteristics passed down from father to son then it is from mother to daughter. They use the word "potentially" because there is still a large amount of work to be done to confirm the original findings.
Again might I suggest you try and do some reading on the topic instead of making idiotic statements |

Again I repost this reply of mine to Ropable, who so far has been unable to find fault with it. I would add that I personally do not care one iota whether early humans were black, white, brown, etc etc. It is only Ropes who feels he has to find something negative for white people. He doesn't realise we really do not care one way or the other.
OK Ropes, I'll have a go.
Firstly, where is this scientific evidence which you say;

There is no way that I am aware of which scientists are able to tell the skin colour of 'Lucy', and those who came after her or before her.
What you are supposing/presuming, is that the first human types were black, from the word go, because those today from Africa are black. I think this is unsupportable scientifically. There is no more reason to think that they were black, than they were white. Were they white originally, they would have evolved darker skin over time to counter the climatic conditions which prevailed. Of course if the area where human types evolved was colder back in those days, millions of years ago, than it is today, then whiter skins would not be out of place. On the other hand if they began whiter, they would just have evolved darker skin if the climate at the time warranted it.
As for Jesus, he was probably the colour Arabs are today. 2,000 years is probably not long enough for evolution to make much difference. Also, back in his day they wore robes as they do today, so the sun was not such an issue as it was for those living in sub Sahara Africa at the time who were naked and black, like our Aboriginals. |

Now please explain why Lucy, over 3 million years ago, must have been black, and where is the scientific evidence to support the claim.
And I reiterate, I have no problem whatsoever whether she and her ancestors were black, white, brown, etc. |

This theory was shot down years ago using archelogical evidence from the States. Perhaps you need to find more up to date information. Something from this decade would be good |

cave painting in the north of WA have been carbon dated to be as old as 70,000 years old,
Emailed an Archologist mate of mine about this. He is very interested in finding out the source of the claim. Would like either the scientific journal or even the name of the newspaper where the claim was made. Can you please provide ???? |

as i stated before, of all the dark skinned people of the world, the australian aboriginal is ethnically closest to the white races.
