Re:P-Plater Propaganda Reply to this message
Bloke, I live in a town of around 10,000 people. I do a lot of walking - about an hour or more a day. When I'm off duty I see cars doing things that you don't often see when you're driving around in the 'van'. By far the majority of the id1ots I see when I'm off duty are P platers - so when I go to work it is the P platers who I particularly target. Plus statistics show that young people are more likely to be involved in a fatality than any other age group. So, short answer - I certainly do target P platers - but of course don't ignore people of any age who are committing offences. Cheers

No, I speak in earnest. I really don't want my licence taken off me if, for example, my speed creeps up to 61 in a 60 and I get caught. So I simply drive around 10 km under just to be safe.

Not quite true!
No one gets done for doing 61kms in a 60km zone, P Platers or otherwise.

Good on you, Lilacz.

Go get 'em and hit 'em hard. I'm happy to see idiots cop their right whack every time. I just hope they learn from their mistakes before it is too late.

Keep up the great work.

'but the coppers aren't just targeting young drivers or P-platers,>>>

Um, yes mostly we do. :P'

Yeah, lilacz, we had a Highway Patrolman who actively targetted us wen we were teens, we HATED him, passionately.

At 50+, I can totally understand where he was coming from, and realise that he only had our best interests/safety in mind.

Sen. Con. Bob Wallace, wonder whatever became of him?

Teach em to despise you at a young age, Lilacz performs another stroke of genius.

And then the piglet wonders why people have no respect for blue uniforms. I guess with a TE score of minus 100, there aren't many occupations suitable.

Re:P-Plater Propaganda Reply to this message
I've never had P plates (they weren't around a few centuries ago) & I make a habit of keeping 5 - 10k under the posted limits, especially in built up areas. Can't see any point in contributing to the upkeep of blue uniformed fundraisers like lilacz when they have ten different speed signs in a kilometer in the hope they will confuse some poor mug enough to get a domation. No traffic act I've read says anything about a limit being a speed one must drive. Actually I'd love to see everyone drive 10k under for a few weeks just to spite the traffic porkers. Its also fun to give the flash for cash oinkers a big cheesy grin and a wave when you go sailing past at 10k under :) :) :)
