| If Sydney sucked, we would be getting a gentle southerly breeze. However, we have been getting sou-easterlies in the morning which means Indonesia sucks, and westerlies in the afternoon which means New Zealand sucks as well. |

| Sydney's just one of those places you know. You'll notice, that if you stop and think about Sydney for any great length of time, you'll find yourself shaking your head slowly from side to side and sucking air through your teeth, like a mechanic about to give you the bad news. |

To simplify any argument
The people who have tried to succeed in Sydney and failed hate it.
The people who have succeeded, love Sydney.
The level of success may vary, to some people, simply moving into Sydney, getting a job and a house and enjoying this great and beautiful city, is all it takes.
some other feel they have to make money to be succesful.
I would rather live in Sydney with only a dollar in the bank than say Perth with a few million in the bank.
There is a big differance between living and excisting. |

Its like this. Ring Ring goes the phone. You answer it and get a "Hi! this is (insert name)! I'm from Sydney!".
Even though the Sydney guy cant see it, you'll be rolling your eyes and shaking your head, as though to say "here we go again, this will be good, I wonder what this fruitcake wants".
However, there are some picturesque places in Sydney, such as Chipping Norton, Zetland, and Wilcannia. |

Ah yesss, Wilcania would have to be my favorite part of Sydney - slight murder rate problem, alcoholism, and disease, but I did find it curious that they have their tip in the middle of the main street. |

Anyone who has sailed the Whitsunday Islands will claim that Queensland is the best place in the world.
Anyone who has cruised Sydney harbour for the day and then gone to a show on the night followed by a dance at one of the supper clubs will say that Sydney is the best place to be.
It is not comparing apples to apples, nor should it be. There are many places that are great to visit, where one could see themselves spending their lives.
Even places like Perth are very nice to visit, although not too many people would appreciate the idea of spending the rest of ones life there.
Sydney though is an exceptional place to visit AND live your life. |

| I`d always hear people raving about queenslands golf of Carpentaria and thought i`d go there for a game. I have to tell you path, it was terrible. The fairways were all overgrown and none of the holes were marked. Never again I tell ya! |

| On the way home I went to mount Isa, as many queenslanders have raved about this. But when I finally met her, I couldn`t get away quick enough. In NSW she wouldn`t even get a mention. |

I figured I'd go to Frenchs Forest and have some escargo's and semillion, maybe even a jumping chicken sandwich somewhere nice in the forest.
Imagine my surprise when all I found was an abandoned tyre shop and a housing commission estate, and nobody spoke hardly any french. |
