| I think your right, crazy. They are too apathetic to even respond to this thread. They just could not care less if they are souless people. No substance, no character, no personality. Why do we even both maintaining Canberra? I mean, the city is just a big monument, afterall. It serves no economic function and just costs the Australian tax payer a lot of money. Maybe we should just close Canberra down and move the federal government to Melbourne? |

| Is it still like that? Wow. I went to Canberra 20 years ago and driving through it didn't see one person. Not a single soul. I found them all though, they were at the workers club! |

| Soul ? Haven't you noticed all the trees, animals and birds ? Don't they feed your souls ? When you work long hours, as the average Canberran does, do you really think we want to be cruising or walking the streets ? Besides for many months of the year the nights are cold and most people stay in the warm, be it at friends, in restaurants or the clubs. I like many of thousands, love Canberra, and I have travelled the world so not easily impressed. |

no economic function..i wonder ,,,can you read,do you have any idea at all of enconomics,,or are all you days spent washing windows at the traffic lights,,and then wandering off to the dole office????? |

Hi Ann, I have a soul.
Actually, as you know I am a lovely decent person, however I am classed and labelled by the community due to the plight of mental disability and the horror of no assistance. I am on my own to recover because assistance is far too difficult for all of the resourses of government to grapple with. Naturally, this has me wondering how I could recover using my own meagre resourses when those resourses of government are out of their depth. Thus the government expects me to achieve what the government claims not to be able to achieve.
