Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation
Minister for Industrial Relations
Minister for Planning
Andrew Barr MLA has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly since being elected as a replacement for Ted Quinlan in the seat of Molonglo in April 2006.
Andrew was born in Lismore in 1973 and moved to Canberra in 1977. He attended the AME School, Turner Primary School, Lyneham High School and Lake Ginninderra College before completing a Bachelor of Arts (Policy Studies), majoring in economics, economic history and political science at the Australian National University in 1995.
Since graduating from the ANU, Andrew has worked in the private sector as an account manager and salesperson and in the political sphere, as a policy and parliamentary adviser and Chief of Staff to a Labor Minister.

Will never have a child of his own; but he is deciding your child education; and he seems quite at ease when both evicting/or causing hardship on famlies as well. |

| I find that rather offensive, given that Catholic education is delivered and determined by non child bearing adults. Mr Barr has a passion for education and is not swayed by biases etc that may beset a person who may have chosen to have children. |

Sorry I offended you; but not all parents send their child to a catholic school; and that is their choice. No offence ment.
I do however disagree that Andrew Barr is a better judge than the child's parent; and as for "not swayed by biases"; what a joke. |

I believe that Andrew BARR has also commented that he want's "Childrens Birth Certificates" changed to read parents; and not Mother and Father's names.

So now the law according to Andrew BARR: we all have to live in concrete hell holes; our children have to "get used" to communial playing fields; so that Andrew can make a life style he want to become accustomed to.
You have no shame Andrew; and I note that you don't live in any of the so called New Suburbs, but in Dickson.
Why don't you listen to the people that know what they are talking about; or better still resign? you are no use to Canberra. |

Now we hear to-day that Andrew BARR actually arranged (or more likely his staff) for a private Consultancy Company to attend a Public Meeting on behalf of the ACT Government.
This is great, just what does this man think we are. So we are now paying for a private consultant to ignore us as well as Andrew BARR. |

This is great coming from a man that evicted family's from their home of some twenty years; closed schools; approved the building of concrete jungles called new Canberra Suburbs; wrecks Canberra Society; and tells us to get used to it; good for you Andrew can't wait to see what you come up with next. |
