Why is WIN News so slack? They still show cr!appy low-res 4:3 while the rest of the world is in 16:9 HD, and WHY does WIN show a black border around all 4:3 content?
Also, WHY does WIN News show its map of Australia logo in the quarter-screen graphic (the thing to the left of Jessica Good) half the time when she is reading the news???? What is that quarter screen graphic thing for anyway????? |

It's the only local news we've got!
Capital and Prime jumped ship years ago and have been ignoring our local news requirements ever since. |

| May I also add: their technical standards seem to be slipping. On top of the cra!ppy definition and black sidebars of the fuzzy 4:3 picture, some of the stories have funny stereo effects where they seem to be laying down soundtracks in one stereo channel and having nat sound in the other. |

Actually ABC has a really good news program at 7pm from Canberra that includes all the international, national and local news,sport, finance etc you would need plus really good local weather - maybe give them a whirl? And no ads either! |
