| Was Andew Hansen really invited onto Thank God You're here as shown on the last Chaser's episode. Or was it a set up? It was soooo funny but I can't work out if he was invited on (producers would have to have had rocks in thier head if they did, given Andrew's penchant for taking the ...) or if they set it up? |

Probably was a set up. It is a comedic show so they wouldn't have any complaints if it was used for comedic purposes (besides, it gives them free publicity) |

| yes, it was probably just a set up scenario. the chaser boys have said in interviews that a couple of their stunts were fake's due to them possibly getting into some serious trouble. in last series there was house inspection scenario were it was all a fake, because if they did that they could have gotten into lot of trouble, but they think chas dressing up as osama bin laden isn't going to far. i love the chaser, but i think the whole george bush stunt went a little too far. they could possibly be axed due to the abc being funded by the government. |

I particulary am surprised you described THE Andrew Hansen <3 as being “Ill manner and non education?!"
Since Andrew is probably one of the most literate and hilarious/intelligent faces on television this remark is absolutely off beam. To say he is what oh "non education" is ridiculous.. as your not terrible "education" as you’ll find, there are quite a few particles missing in your ahh "complaint"...
So dear musicman_75 I completely disagree with you and ohh one more thing...

The Chasers absolutely ROCK. I love Andrew Hansen (and Chas, and Chris!!!) but I can understand how some people might get offended by their stunts. Well actually I don't really understand because I personally think they're hilarious, not offensive.
I guess Humour works in different ways for different people. I love the Chaser's kind of humour, I love futurama/simpsons style humour but I cannot stand Kath and Kim or Mr. Bean humour. To each their own, hey! |

If you listen to the dvd comentary (which i have) they say that someone said that sophia loren Said she was fine.
Jimmy wales didnt get offened when andrew said-"and tenth how do you feel that when i looked YOU up on wikipedia i changed your page to say you were a teenage drug lord from malaysha?"

To musicman_75, I cannot believe anybody would bad-mouth the Chasers. Some of their stunts may seem insulting to some people, but they're hilarious! We need to get a laugh every so often, so where's your sense of humour?
I don't think anybody could be funnier than Andrew Hansen, or the Chaser Team, especially not a fool like yourself. Andrew Hansen doesn't need to grow up, and he's not a terrible or sick person that should be banned from TV.
You're the one who needs to grow up, so leave the Chasers alone. Get a life and fix up your English. |

Chasers are a bunch of tossers.
Apart from their pathetic attempts at "shocking" the public, their comedy is so frigging predictable it's not funny. Chasers are the equivalent of how we viewed South Park and Jackass in the 90's. oooooh! So edgy!!!! oooooh! I can't believe they did that!!! - they're SOOOO crazy and just DON'T CARE!!!! Like, wow.
They get their laughs out of "shocking" people with obviously set-up scenes and their plethora of lawyers to back them up when they stuff up.
Suits the emos and the wannabe try-hard intellectuals, though, I guess, particularly the ones who have not done anything but sit at highschool and Uni, so have no appreciation for how benile and messed up the majority of their attempts at comedy really are.
Anyone with kids who found the "terminally ill kids" episode funny needs their head read.....and to re-consider parenting. |
