Doesn't this guy know that a lot Australian people live in Italy and have direct link to Australia. His not funny person, hell I am more funny them him in real life. His humour was dry. I don't like The Chaser I think its one of sillyish show on TV by ABC.
I did see interview of Sophia Loren on RAI International, she happy that we have Italian Film Festival around. She was looking forward to coming here.
Andrew Hansen to say those things to her, it only show he was ill manner and no education. I agree with Sophia Loren saying Andrew Hansen is a terrible person" adding that he was "silly, silly, silly".
Andrew Hansen you need to grow up, because you not no means a funny guy. Your sick person that should be ban from TV. |

| I can take or leave the Chaser. Some weeks they have me helpless with laughter (like the "test shag" ) at Captain Snooz a few weeks back and other weeks they remind me of the smart-a$$ guys in my 8th grade english class who thought they were SOOOO funny but in reality, the majority of the class would have slapped them through the nearest brick wall if given half the chance. Then again, I'm reduce to tears of laughter by the Benny Hill episodes that have been shown recently on Channel 7, one persons humour....... |

Andrew Hansen is a legend.
I can't believe the big fuss everyone made about the Sophia Loren 'Mr 10 Questions'.
She's a film star. Who cares?! She hasn't done anything to change the world, she didn't cure cancer, she didn't end World Poverty. Everyone takes themselves and people like Sophia Loren far too seriously and that is exactly what the Chaser people are trying to prove. They're not out to offend people, they're out to make people laugh and show people that life does not have to be as serious as everyone makes it.
Okay, fair enough, she was there for a press conference. The Chaser has been on air long enough for people to realise who they are and should be wise enough not to let them in because obviously, they’re not about to ask a serious question.
You also said he has ‘no education’. Hmm. Graduated from Sydney University with honours in Australian Literature. I don’t think an individual with ‘no education’ would receive honours at university. Please next time, find the facts before making untrue statements.
The ABC won't give The Chaser the axe. They are getting far too many good ratings for that.

I agree with lexi_francis_andrew
The Chaser is one of the funniest shows on TV. It is averaging about 1.5 million viewers a week so I don't see if being cancelled any time soon. Mr 10 Questions is a great segment and the best are the celebs who do not take it seriously like Hugh Jackman who laughed and applauded,the guy from Wikipedia who attempted to answer all the questions and Anthony LaPaglia and Kerri-Anne Kennerley who did answer all of 10 questions.
All of the Chaser boys are educated Craig and Julian even have law degrees. |

LOL Some people just don't get the joke - Sophia was fine, no-one was hurt and the joke is even funnier when people watching don't understand it's just a joke.
And yeah, I also love it when the "victim" gets it and responds with humour - as many of them do.
I remember one segment of 10 questions - I can't remember who it was, a woman, waited patiently while all the questions were read out (smiling all the time) then appeared to consider the questions deeply and than without pausing for breath, said something like: "Yes, yes, no, yes, no, maybe, once but only on Sunday, never, yes, only with icecream" - that's not exactly what she said but you get the idea - most of her answers made no sense in relation to the questions. Which is perfect since the questions are supposed to be non-sensical anyway. :) |

| I LOVE The Chaser and Andrew Hansen is one of my faves. (Chas is my other fave, that guy will do ANYTHING!!) To me, the same rules apply as to any other show on television, if you don't like it, don't watch it. Simple really. |

Hugh Jackman was great on there and so was Peter Carey, both really funny. Megan Gale was great aswell when she replied "Sorry, can you repeat all the questions?" and Andrew shot back "Yeah okay, One; how are you enjoyi-" and then she walked away laughing. =] |

Look, the Chaser is just doing what a lot of shows are too spineless to do, let their position of opposition be known. If they don't like someone, they go up to them and illustrate what they don't like about them. If something is going around in the news a lot which is really trivial, they make a sketch so it is clearly seen as trivial. Anyways, Andrew Hansan is a funny, funny man and that Sophia Loren character was just being overly sensitive. Was Hugh Jackman offended when he had Mr. 10 Questions done to him? No! Was Megan Gale offended? No! Charlize Theron, Jimmy Wales? Absolutely not! Mr. 10 Questions is funny. So is the Crazy Warehouse Guy and the Suprise Spruiker. If you take away their right to make fun of people, all we have left is Current Affair shows (and no-one to make fun of them at that)!
P.S. That's a $75 fine for being ignorant
P.P.S (or P.S.S., I forget) Chas rocks and so do Julian. I hope they don't get the 6 month jail sentence...Then again, that was the recommended jail sentence for Chas' infamous Bulldogs stunt and he got that off scott free |
