Re:My Favorite Quote.
Well i have never read Capote though have heard of him.....my words below just came to me in one whimsical moment as i sat here daydreaming about my last nasty graze - i'm still feeling the shards of his broken kisses but i'm trying to forget...

Re:My Favorite Quote.
"I am infinitely saddened to find myself suddenly surrounded in the west by a sense of terrible loss of nerve, a retreat from knowledge into falsely profound questions about, are we not really just animals at bottom; into extra-sensory perception and mystery. These simply do not lie along the line of what we are able to know if we devote ourselves to it: an understanding of man himself. We are nature’s unique experiment to make the rational intelligence prove itself sounder than the reflex. Knowledge is our destiny. Self-knowledge, at last bringing together the experience of the arts and the explanations of science, waits ahead of us."

Re:My Favorite Quote.
"Nature is inexorable and immutable; she never transgresses the laws imposed upon her, or cares a whit whether her abstruse reasons and methods of operation are understandable to men. For that reason it appears that nothing physical which sense–experience sets before our eyes, or which necessary demonstrations prove to us, ought to be called in question (much less condemned) upon the testimony of biblical passages which may have some different meaning beneath their words."
