Has anyone else rang Bigpond tech help lately? The new automated voice help guy is really smooth and refuses to be drawn into an arguement. After about 10 -15 minutes of time wasting voice directions I said 'I am going to cry now" and he replied "would you like to continue with this help or give up, please say continue when you wish to proceed"
How Bloody Infuriating! Eventually I threw my cigarette lighter at the desk and he felt my frustration "I will now pass you onto a consultant". I was in a mentally weakened state by this stage. If this had been a real person I would have thrown my brick at them!
Anyway just for laughs I think everyone should ring the help line and say stuff like "I am going to cut my own throat now...." |

As soon as I get directed to a voice recognition system, my temper boils. Hate the bloody things.
But I look at the bright side. I am then extremely rude to the person at the other end when I finally get through.
It will then take four transfers from some monkeys to finally direct me back to the right department. All because the damn system has directed me to some other god damn forsaken department which I had not asked for.
