I am finally at the end of what has been an awful lead up to christmas, i finally recieved a refund from castle.
Is there anyone who hasnt recieved there refund yet..if so i hope u succeed in winning over a company who should be done for fraud...
DONT sell it if u cant supply it.. |

| I been chrisco for ova 4 years neva had a problem ,and plan to stick with them, am sorry for the ones who have had problems.I would be so angry if i was mucked around with my hampers, as i agree if u cant deliver why do we need to pay?We hounour our payments so why should we be mucked around!! |

| Got chrisco for the first time this year and it turned up on time with good expiration codes on them too. I'm a happy customer, but that doesn't mean I'll get them agian next year. We're thinking of using the money to give foxtel a go. |

knoxville: How is one a victim when its obvious how bad of a service they provide year in year out?

| Somehow I don't think many people will be ordering Chrisco Hampers next year, which will put them out of business. They really need to get themselves a new manager if they wish to try and right things and show the public they are truly sorry. |

I had a browse thru a chrisco catalogue in a waiting room awhile ago and I wasnt impressed. Whats the attraction with them?
Never seen a castle hamper, whats in one? |

| mmm .... ordered with them twice with no problem ... did so for financial reasons (household was on one part time income) and thought it a good idea to try it - but have decided not to for a few years since, as I ended up with at least 3 items from each hamper I didn't use but got the hamper for the other goods in it. ... wonder how much longer the co. will exist ?? (Didn't get a brochure from them this year...meaning what ?? ) |

I LOVE CASTLE/CHRISCO, but yes ive been in the boat where its near xmas last year,ive invited twenty people over and the box with all the snack food hasnt been delivered.Devistated and with only $40 to my name i set out to try and create xmas party with such a little amount.It ruined that day and that week for me.
But they did refund me promptly,$20 off my next order and a letter of apology.So dont be disheartend. |

Last year was a disaster for them. I was fully refunded last year, with a little extra on top for the inconvenience.
Mine is due this weekend, even got a txt msg reminding me to be home for the delivery.
Good to donate the things in the package that you cant/wont use to your local st vinnies or salvos. Theres always someone worse off that would love your donation. |

| Wouldn't everybody be better off by putting the Chrisco money aside during the course of the year, then go shopping at Christmas for the food that you really want and need at a fair price? |

| back in the 60's (yep, THAT long ago!) Mum had a Christmas Club a/c at the bank, worked pretty much like you suggest, feralflea. I don't think the banks do it any more, tho. Prolly not enough profit for them. |

I'm sure all is fixed this year, otherwise I wouldnt have re-ordered with them!
Xmas club accounts went ages ago. No banks do them now. I'm just not strong enough to put it away and not touch it!! I adore the fact that xmas every year is always catered for, I dont have to rush around in the pre xmas nightmare. |
