| Has anyone else out there had the misfortune to experience the ordeal of having a Chrisco Christmas Hamper (or lack of) delivered this year? It's a long on going story, which I won't bore anyone with. But to cut it short, I've never had so much trouble dealing with a company as I have with Chrisco this year. |

| A word of advice, either find another hamper company, or put that money aside each week. |

and in the long run it is NOT cheap ..and there is a lots of things in the hamper that you dont want .
you are better off opening up a credit account , put the money in there every week , get interest on it . and then at the end of the year yu can go out and buy thinks on special ,,
the hampers are a gimic . and the companies are a joke . |

| As I said it's still on going. I had to wait all day for delivery, they ring @ 3pm and tell me they'll be there in an hour, they don't get there till 8.30pm. Half the order's missing. You try to ring them, you're on hold for ages, sometimes they even tell u to ring back and hang up on you.I've written 4 emails which they've answered none. 4 different boxes of chocs, heat affected. They keep telling u someone will get back to you re: missing boxes. It took them 3 weeks to ring back to arrange delivery of missing goods for next Sunday. (That will make it 4 weeks since original delivery) When I ask will it be am or pm they say can't give you a time, so another day wasted waiting for them. My time is valuable especially when you work all week. Money not credited back to account for damaged chocs when it supposed to be. Check list missing from boxes I did receive so don't know if what boxes I have are complete. Have just been on phone to them this morning for 45 minutes trying to sort things out. |

Tried it for the first time this year. My hamper turned up last week on time. Good expiration codes, well into next year. I'm happy with what I got, very few items I don't usually buy but people I can give them too so there will be no wastage.
For all those having troubles , I'm sorry I hope it all works out. This sort if thing can ruin Christmas for you and that sucks.
Try and have a good one.

Try ringing the ombudsman's office, they will handle the liaison with Chrisco for you. I did that when Dodo couldn't get my adsl2 up and running. There must be a similar thing for these guys. Might save you the time and hassle of chasing it up yrself. Also if the dispute is with the ombudsman past a set amount of days the company pays a fine, good incentive hey. |

to the company at fault, not the complainant. It's OK I know you said that just making it real clear for those reading.
I was told it was only after a certain amount of time though, anyway it worked for me. I got my money back. |

| this IS NOT an 'I told you so' - but after seeing what my dtr got with her hampers - I decided, like a lot of others, to put money aside each week for a BIG spend up just before Chrissy....besides how many of you enjoy a BIG SPEND UP ...I certainly did. |
