| does anyone else think that it is possible for miles to be related to marvin candle (the man on all the orientation videos) ???? coz i think that everyone on the freighter has a reason for being there and a conection to the island. eg. frank was the pilot who was spose to be flying 815. what do u all think?? |

miles is awesome but come jus cos asian ppl look alike they dont have to be related. like my green grocer and my mate sitting next to me rite now look the same but they arent related. its like saying miles and the guy from tomorrow never dies (the asian guy with the diamonds in his face) are related.
not cool. im half asian and i am offended. |

im sorry if i did offend anyone with my first message.
i was just wondering if anyone had come up with any other explanation that links miles to the island. i do believe that all characters have a link so i thought that maybe that was miles'.

You also haveta look at how comfortable Miles is with the island and staying on it. A comfort that could come from being born there. I didn't think much of it til it was brought up in this commentary:

watching the episode on wednesday reminded me of this old thread i started. i love thinking back to old theories and wondering if they worked out. the only difference now is we know marvin candles real name is pierre chang.
i think the main reason i thought there was a connection is because everyone else seemed to fit into the islands story somehow and this was the only conclusion i could draw for miles. |
