just browsing the web and found this:
1:The island is a huge government conspiracy.
That is why no one has came to pick them up. No rescue teams etc.
2:The people who took Walt are from 'Drahma'
The people on the boat looked like the people from the orientation film. They live on the island propably in another hatch experimenting on animals
3:The island is used to experiment on animals and people
The reason is that:
A-The polar bear was on the island even though it is obviously not cold
B-The HUGE shark with the tatoo
C-The monster is the experiment that whent wrong, the mechanical sound is that it mutated with machineiry (Electromagnetic)
4: Pushing the button with execuate kepps a electomagnetic barrier around the island that is why the people on the raft couldn't escape and why the plane crashed and all the other 'accidents' (The electromagnetics screwed with the electronics). It also keeps the animals inside the island
6:Walt has a special connection with Shannon. He gave her Vincent, he appaerared to her and he used to always talk to her.
7:The injects Desmond gives himself are to keep him from being sick from the disease. that is why he took them when he fled the hatch
8:Desmond is waiting for Hurley and either Locke, Jack, Shannon or Walt.
9:The person in the physc ward was someone who used to work in the hatch.
10:Someone (Proberly a main charector) is from Drahma. How did the people who took walt know that they built a raft???
11:Another theory is that the people who crash on the island they become the new hhatch workers.
12:The french woman used to work in the hatch. How did she know the monster was a security sistem.
13;Another way they could have crashed on the island is that one of the piolets (or both) are from drahma same as Desmonds yacht and the french woman's boat and they became the new hatch workers
14: The elecytomagnetic shield around the island makes it invisabe

am i the only 1 in the thread at the moment. ok well ill just post som of my theories then.
there have been thoughts of them all bein dead by many ppl and can i just say that the producers have confirmed that they are very much alive. also there have been other theories about dharma owning oceanic and they staged the crash. i just wanted to add my part on this. if the ppl who survived wer chosen because they wer good ppl how would of dharma of oceanic made then survive. they cant read ppls mind. lets say jack had to go to the tolet when the back of the plane broke off. Bye bye jack. And my main thing that i wanted to discuss is how was it possibal that charlie was on the beach on the day of the crash. he went to the front of the plane in 1st class i mite add to take his herion and when the plane was goin down he didnt go back to the middle of the plane. he stayed in the front so explain to me how he got to wer the middle of the plane was.
the only possiblility was him being catipalted through the jungle. if this happened he would of certainly died.

| First Is Dr. Marvin Candle or Calvin Andmre dead? Well my guess is yes. He seems to have a glass eye in the orientation film, and the "talies" found a glass eye in the "arrow" station. Now was he killed by "others"? of The smoke? or was it someone else? This is where my opinion is split. Is it possible that the others killed him? did he cross into the "Dark territory", or was he killed by smokey? |

| Or was he murdered by someone else? was there someone else with him? Was it Alvar Hanso? or the Degroots?. Well if you look at the others that took Walt on the raft, they do look a lot like the Degroots from the Film. So did the Degroots take over the island and kill/take captive the dharma team or did the dharma team and the degroots turn on Candle and Hanso? |

| Was there a war between the Degroots and Candle? Was this the insedent? But how could chatting on the computer create another insedent then? Heres what i think: possibly, Candle and his team may have taken cover in the "stations" after the "war", maybe, the computer is linked to the other stations which enables them to comunicate. Now if the "others" hold another station, will chatting enable the others to locate the "swan" station and kill who ever works there? |

| The names are most likely the same person just under disguise. and chatting may produce another insedent because it may reveal the location of another hatch when there is definetly some dangerous events happening between the too. Also Walt was saying not to press the button, one party may know more information then the other, thus if the other party found uot they could use this knowledge to jepeordise the project. i gtg but well be on later. |
