Re:The Island Retirement Village
sorry guys, i was just napping last night. but here i am, and what a waste of an hour of my life that was! the one and only relevant i thought was the mental hospital. JJ said 'one of our survivors may or may not be the only person to have passed through Santa Rosa' now, my lovely ladies, this another one of those linbes which have double negatives and confsuing grammar to throw you. he is basically saying, i rekon, that Santa Rosa IS involved in the recruitment of the survivors. that Santa Rosa plays a definite part in all of this. i think thats pretty huge myself. follow that thought on a bit and it is basically CONFIRMING that the crash was a set up, that the survivors are definitley pre picked, there is a definite organised system to why/how the survivors got to be on the island. Now we have to start brainstorming what Santa Rosa means, why people where in there. i know Lockes mum 'self admited' herself several times to Santa Rosa institute. could be something to do with the twins thing. im really thinking that was a significant clue. come on, guys we got some great lost minds on this page, lets pull up our walking frames and sort out the mental institution deal. we can do it! come team!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
umm guys, this is getting really concerning. the stupid shared unconciouss experience thing is gaining momentum. check this Lostipedia link. it is all making SO MUCH sense, and the producers did say the ending could dissapoint some fans

http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Santa_Rosa_Mental_Instit ute

NOTE TO PRODUCERS - IT BETTER NOT BE AN UNCONCIOUS GROUP EXPERIENCE THING!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
hhmmm interesting. it seems that Lockes mum visited a Dr D Madison while at Santa Rosa. This guys name was on a letter to Sun that we found somewhere, cant remember it now. we were trying to work out what it said and were typing it on one of the threads. this should be a new name we research. could be a link.
checxk the picture to see his name on Lockes mums book in sheet thing

Re:The Island Retirement Village
Hey lovey...hows the hip? I don't follow ur reasoning with Santa Rosa? Didn't JJ say hurly was the only survivor who has been in a mental institution....or am I going completely senile too. I do however, agree that Santa Rosa and the hopsital are links for all our survivors. Definitely the MRI (Imagining) thing was a very strong clue. So has to have something to do with what's happening. I'm thinking along the lines of something like WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY. Although can only seem to fit that with a few of the characters yet. Needs much more deep thought and may have disabled certain neuron pathways last night. kez and I were convinced u and tmt were off having a little off line affair somewhere! Where is she?

Re:The Island Retirement Village
another interesting thing. i really hope this one hasnt been picked up yet. it seems that there is doctor called Vincent Madison. he is linked to the Santa Rosa institure form the looks of it. type Madison into the lostipedia search and it brings up a thing about Vincent the dog. it says the Vincents real name is Madison. Vincent Madison is the doctor tho. Do we have a MAJOR clue to the hospital shared expoerience thing? Vincdnt MAdsion is Walts doctor in hopsital perhaps? oh dear, guys im getting scared about all these links. need a nap and a rub down

Re:The Island Retirement Village
hehehe i dont know, maybe she doesnt like retirment villages. maybe the decor isnt to her liking... i dunno.
ok JJ said that one of our survivors may or may not have been the only perosn to pass through Santa Rosa. he was talking bout Hurley at the time. but i think it was more a clue to say that YEs, Santa Rosa IS involved. which just means there is DEFINITELY an organised element to all this. the Vincent Madison thing and the other lostipedia link are all very interesting, the MRI thing too. i think this is the strongest theory yet. boring but very strong.

Re:The Island Retirement Village
don't worry lovey, your meds are coming! I think after last night that it seems the producers are turning this into a major marketing programme for all sorts of off shoot movies etc. Rach reckons Lost is a scientology cover heavily funded by Tom Cruise!! LOL. We are boycotting MI3..what a major plug! So cranky. I did also pick up tho when they showed Michael talking to his Mum on the phone at the airport, he said to her, this wasn't supposed to happen, he wasn't supposed to be mine" so......hmmmmm? Someone did pick up that connection ages ago with Madison. Told you it was the dog!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
I've been piecing together the whole crash sequence and I don't know how the whole thing could have been controlled enough to pick specific passengers. I think they were brought together for a purpose, but still a large amount of chance chose the survivors we see.

I think everyone here should see "the Cube" - a perfect example of how a handful of characters are picked to solve a puzzle with fatal outcomes. Watch "the Cube" and try to remove any one of the characters.

I picked up another clue that I missed before in the pre-crash dialogue. Just remember that everything every character says, every word, is carefully written to convey certain meaning. I won't give it away here, but it's on the plane, and it's before the crash.

Don't be so quick to dismiss last night's "episode". It's not just a recap - everything is there for a reason. I am alway's asking "why are they showing me this"? If there are many ways to recap a certain part of the show, then why show me this particular piece?

Re:The Island Retirement Village
ken, interesting what you say. i strongly feel the crash was staged but who really knows.
but your spot on about last night. i was saying that to my girlfriend too, that they are specifically showing the pieces of the show which contain clues, i saw many and the Michael thing WAS very interesting. lots of them say that something wasnt supposed to happne or be that way or whatever.
and in the plane, what was said? i know Jack is saying how the turbulence is normal, he is also saying that he is drink wasnt very stong, Rose mentions Bernard in the toilet, CHarlie is VERY nervously tapping on his chair, Hurley is reading the comic, Walt is playing the game boy tihng, Locke is just chilling out, what else? fill us in on your insight, let it free!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
hmm could mean AND MR E. interesting. so many clues to go through and process. sadly i must do a bit of work. getting a bit snowed under. will return later. but lets keep thinking bout this mental institution. how many survivors are linked to it, what its TRUE purpose could be, is this where the group unconcious experience is taking place?
ciao till later guys!

Hi All, new to this. Long time reader, first time messaage leaver.
I strongly suggest you record next weeks episode and watch back many times when looking through "The Monster" lots of clues and images.

Also, Ken is right, Cindy was a resident at Santa Rosa.
