i can't comment on what will happen next, as i know what will happen next....buuuut....
i've been trying to figure out if the bible verse means anything in relation to the losties that have died (ie: they've been "redeemed") and can't come up with anything.
i think it is more a big clue to locke - "look north" and also compass bearings (the 3:05) or something.
BUT if eko knew THIS why didn't he do anything with it?

micro's theory:
Ok time line parallels, time paradox, butterfly effect stuff.
What if all the people on the island were brought there as a result of a paradox which was not meant to happen in the great scheme of things/fate etc. I mean imagine if the each were killed or not actually born in the outside world because of some butterfly effect. So until the paradox is rectified they are put into some kind of quarantine/holding bay, which is the island, until they can be placed back into the real world. That is why, meantime, they cannot leave/escape from the island. Those whose paradox is fixed are "killed" on the island to release them. That could be why there are so many deaths. [spoiler removed from here]. Would this also fit in with why there were so many (amazingly so) survivors of the plane crash? It isn't, as we have all said many times, actually a plane crash. The plane is in fact a wormhole through which they are brought. Those who are really stuck on the island like Ben who was born there and has been there all his life. Perhaps his time paradox is some kind of infinite loop which cannot be resolved and hence he can never leave.
Hope I got all the spoilers out....BIG sorry if I didn't. I read it about 5 times in case I was missing something. |

| HEY EVERYONE!! just been reading last few pages to catch up, been too crook to move and in and out of hospital. I feel like I have been stuck in some other parallel Universe. I'm confused which isn't unusual for me either! But... remember the end of the last season where they show those Argentinian scientists in like a polar setting recording the "anomoly" of when the Island was "revealed" and they said something to the effect of..."it's happening again and they seemed really excited about it as tho they had been waiting for it to happen?We never got the explanation for that. But it seemed odd in that perhaps the world's true reality was way into the future Ice Age perhaps? That's been really bugging me and still no explanation...so hold to the idea of parallel realities going on. not game to venture to the spoilers but can any of you pantsy ppl st least shed anymore light on this? Do you think maybe Sesmond and now maybe Jack too are thinking this and maybe Ben isn't aware of it???? Going nuts here! |

Hrm not bad theories. And I can comment on them as we haven't had any definite answers in the latest episodes.
I'm not 100% convinced Ben is Alex's biological father. I don't think Danielle is Ben's wife. I wonder if any of the other young people on the island (the others) call Bed "Dad". He could just tell them to call him Dad, even though he's not their real Dad.
I don't think Danielle is "in cahoots" with the Others, but I think she knows more than what she is telling. |
