Re:The Island Retirement Village
Ok Here's something to think about-
The boat that is on next weeks episode is a small sailing boat, meaning that either land is near and they are new people/not others or the others have a sailing boat. I mean boats that small aren't meant for sailing over miles and miles of rough, ocean. It would have to be bigger...

Re:The Island Retirement Village
Micro observations...
Jack etc arrive at the beach with bodies and start digging WITHOUT a word to everyone re what happened/who's dead. Sun is standing right there and Jack says NOTHING? Is this the ultimate "let's not talk about stuff" or what. What is their problem with discussing events!

Eko abandons his church building with Charlie. The hatch is now his church. He sits reverently at the computer. He takes his shoes off at the door, a mark of respect to the church?
Eko's chat to Michael with the analogy of the boy killing the dog. Is he really talking about Michael and sin and forgiveness? Is the cleaning up of the blood on the floor symbolic of washing away Michaels sin. But it doesn't wash away a la lady Mcbeth trying to wash the blood off her hands.
Where did the others get their phlebotomist from? Taking a sample of Michaels blood from deep in his arm muscle????? Chances of hitting a vein like that nil. Chances of a massive bruise...100%.
See you in the funny pages....now where have we heard that before?
Aplogies for absence last night. Wowers hogging puter!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
heya guys!
great ep last night wasnt it. how exciting to finally get to see the others and their camp! i found it really interesting the way Walt told Michael 'i love you' it wasnt normal. seemed like he really wanted him to say it back to him. maybe he was trying to show the others that his dad was a 'good person'

and about Michael and Eko convo, how would Eko even has suspicious of michael doing it? he wasnt there, and i didnt think he was that cluey. however, it could be possible that he is an other and maybe was talking to Fenry. i dont even agree with that but its just a thought.
and yes it does seem the hatch is now Eko's church... its all getting very exciting now... wait till next week!

Re:The Island Retirement Village
I agree KT. The blood cleaning was an important symbolism.
PB. The camp was shown for Michaels benefit. I think that they want the losties to believe that they are living rough. Remember the costumes in the maternity hatch cupboard. Why bother with the charade now. Are they living in the rectangle door hatch and if so why not hide the door.
Was very interesting, TMT, to see the standard form of questioning Michael about Walt. Ms Clue and Susans's lawyer both employed by Dharma?
How was Michael going to get Hurley to go if he hadn't changed his mind and said yes, Hotty. Would he resort to forcing them at gunpoint as a last resort?
If the compass is screwed up by the electromagnetism, and it must be pretty strong to pull on eko's cross, why would the computer message tell Michael to head north? How does that work?
Rach, You got any tatto pics handy? Or TMT come to our rescue! It did seem that they gave us a clear shot of Jacks arm last night. Possibly deliberately so.
In the previews to next week did I see a wierd stone foot? Or do I need to stop my meds now. I'm going back to the dvd recorder later for a look.

Re:The Island Retirement Village

Re:The Island Retirement Village
Yes Hotty. LDE will be dancing in the streets right now! Looks like she could be right on the button heehee so to speak. So who decapitated/ decorpitated this uniped or was it a case of selective erosion?
I want pics of the foot and the boat but I'm too scared to go into the Darkzone! Where's that Defender Of The Archive when you need her! Damn long tea breaks these public servants get.

Re:The Island Retirement Village
micro, i'm sure it was a different tattoo than normal. i thought he had a number - 13? and also a circular symbol. i've been tentatively looking for pictures but am too scared to venture to far and too deep. it would be just my luck that i would stumble across a giant spoiler when we're so close to the finale!

and yes i saw the giant foot too.

Re:The Island Retirement Village
GOOD THERIE

You know how Hurley was in that mental instutution. Well, that guy who kept repeating the numbers, i have a therie why. Maby he keeps repeating the numbers because he was a person down in the hatch, who had to type in the numbers. Maby he was the first one down there and helped make it, thats why all the 4 8 15 16 23 42 numbers are down there. He could maby of been down there for so long and remembered the numbers so well from everywhere there that he went mental and kept repeating them. Maby everyone there is a person who has to go to the island....

Re:The Island Retirement Village
*Sigh* Lde drags her tired cranky self into the llluuuurveeeeeee room with her teddy and blankie and wee dram of scotch to attempt an uninterrupted session of Lost watching. She is ssoooooooo tired from working and late nights and peeps back over her shoulder left and right to make sure noone else sees her sneak in....beccause she reeeaaaaaaaallly wants to watch it now without interuption!! Grrrrrrrrrr.... She sees Srsen has briefly graced us with his presence...HI There!!!...and has left grissley bits all over the bed again. One of his fish is floating and surprisingly ...no Felix to take advantage of this divine Providence. Lde snuggles up and tunes in to rewatch last night's Lost ep. Sorry folks, can't seem to get timing right lately. May have some fodder to offer tomorrow morning for the trough of thought food.
