Jazz I am new to this thread too. I also have had posts ignored (which I thought were good) as well but I got over it. I think you are being too sensitive.
I have often seen others raise good points and seen no one else react to them and thought what a shame.
Dissappoinment and rejection are a part of life so get used to it (had plenty of it myself). Enjoy the fact that there are people out there who love you and value what you have to say even if it ain't these people. ktruffs - Your theory has merit. From what I have read in other lost sites most people think plane crash is a set up and I think its a foregone conclusion.
I know someone made the decision for them to be there but I am not convinced on exactly who. Family esp parents i believe seem to have a big part in moulding them to get there. I agree in all the examples you mentioned those characters defn need to overcome these pyschological issues.
I am not a big fan of the there for therapy theory or the clone theory (these have been done in other shows/movies), I want it to be something more spectacular. These theories still have merit even if I don't like them.
but as I said before life is full of disappointment so if it is one of them so be it.
I like the idea of greedy corp taking over the world and starting a new race of man theory. You might not like it but us all being different makes the world go round. |

Jazz by biting back at these guys so visciosly when you think they are being arrogant is only a way of giving them more posts on their thread and not one you like better or may have started yourself.
by giving them more posts you are helping their cause/fame and since this is not your motive. Why do you do it?
People can work out for themselves whether they want to be part of this thread or any other by reading the posts even the last 5 pages of a large thread gives you an idea. Let people make their own minds up and if no newbies join this thread then you are vindicated in what you say.
Eg The island hotel is not a thread i enjoy so i leave it be I believe it is more for younger people and I am glad they get so much joy from it because reading the posts there everyone is having a great time but its not for me.

Ktruffs just read your theory and is quite a good one.. I would just hate to be the Hanso employee that had to get Bernard up in that tree..lol
but yes It is quite possible that they were "nominated" to be put on the island by concerned loved ones trying to help these people repair their lives...kind of an EXTREME intervention. |

| To add to my theory.. Maybe The Hanso Foundation use this experience as a cover up to get people for their research program be it to creat a different race or just to experiment with peoples minds or whatever. THat would help their funding aswell. |
