Tmt Hi. I think the comment made by Damon about the island sort of drawing ppl to it in an universal kind of way sort of like the Bermuda Triangle is a very interesting comment?

trying to wrap my head around that one. Also saying that they pretty much took The Stand and put it on the Island? Please don't tell me Flagg is going to rock on in out of the Jungle? I so don't want this to be about the goodies and the baddies!!

Damon Lindelof has also stated that these 'connections' between the character are not "Easter eggs", but rather a larger part of the mythology of the series. Just found that! Hope it helps!

Ok All the characters in The Stand were drawn together by dreams they had of the old woman Abigail. What is the key factor that draws all our characters together in Lost? Gotta be more than the plane and the plane crash.......AAAARgh there is this niggling burst of brilliance waiting to erupt. Thinking thinkin think..... Tea anyone?

Ice, not sure what the reference was there, but he either meant the electromagnetics or something else entirely...something of a universal nature, but was he talking in the physical sense or esoteric? If there is a mythological weave to this, we maybe need to be looking at some of those aspects as well, a bit more thoroughly. I'm having trouble with the idea, that so many of these ppl would be so traumatised that they would have to undergo such an intensive hypnotherapy...just a bit too much for me to accept yet, but I do think the idea is a beauty...just trying to make it work?

I still think it is going to come back to being some kind of Dharma experiment. Or a Dharma experiment that Hanso took over. Arrrgh where did everyone go? Oh yes...it is Friday night...some of us do have a life I suppose? I have some chocolate Kwik??

evening all, hope all is well and glasses are full.
the comment Damon made about the 'universal' stuff, i don;t know if you know anyone like this, but he sounds like the kind of person that tries to get a million things out in the one sentence, kind of grasping at words... you guys should have a listen to that one, they're talking about an episode we've already seen here so no harm to come from it. at least then you'll understand what i mean about his babbling!
with regards to the 104th airborne, i was wondering if 'airborne' and 'infantry' are interchangeable?? or do they mean separate things?? |

The Hanso Foundation is funded through the Dharma Initiative, so I'm asuming that it was Hanso experiment...this is very confusing!

Cheers tmt! Yes...Airborne, slightly more green beretish than Infantry. Infantry more hand to hand ground contact. Airborne speaks for itself.
