God Vs Devil Theory
My theory is that Jacob and his friend or enemy seen in the last ep of season 5 are metaphorically the God and the Devil... In season 5 ben told the story of thomas the apostle, therefore bringing up more biblical references...and Jacob was killed by beening stabbed and on Jesus' cruxifixion he was stabbed by a roman guard to make sure he was going to die, but 3 days later he came back to life so Jacob could possibly do the same...
Pregnancy Theory
The four toed statue being revealed as the Egyptian God Taweret the god of pregnancy and life, back before it became a four toed statue pregnancy was good and well and women didnt die from childbirth, but when it was a four toed statue pregnancy became impossible if you have conceived on the island and gave birth there..so there probably is a connection
these theories may have been thought of by someone else and im sorry if they have but i just thought of them today... :) hope they help |
