I'd like to offer my own theory. Considering other biblical references there are in the show: God loved Jacob, other names, the resurrection of Locke in 3 days etc; does this Bible verse from the book of John have any relevance to LOST?
John 4:12 - "Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?"
The well of course being the one built over the frozen wheel, and Jacob's sons being the Others that lived after he did. |
