Back in season 4 when juliet came to the island, Goodwins wife stated that, juliet looks just like her.
Now every one assumed that she was talking about Annie, ben's childhood sweetheart.
But what if Juliet looks just like her, because it is her! |

| Excellent theory. Here's another possibiility: what if Juliet was actually in a relationship with Ben in, say, 1995? That would explain his obsession with her when he recruits her. |

I don't think they were in a relationship, but he must be smitten on her in someway, and then she leaves, dies dies or whatever, then Richard Alpert recruites her (because he knows who supposed to come to the island) and then when she shows up in 2001 every sees the resemblance.
And that could be why goodwin had an affair with juliet, in 2001, as he knew someone that looked like her before. |
