| It was all about Desmond's Flashback about hot the Old Women Told him that he was destined to push the button. As well i Don't know how the old women can see the future. |

k i have a crack at it......
maybe turnin the key opened up a dimension not normally percieved by the brain, and desmonds brain automatically flipped to a time that was really important to him an the dharma/hanso/widmore whoever have a way of controlling these dimensional shifts, an sent the old lady in to make sure his mind stayed on the right course...
i no expert in the field, but i think quantum theory states that its possible for two realities to exist at the same time but in different dimensions.....
someone correct me if im wrong eh..... |

i re-post my theory:
As for Desmond's dream/flashback/something like that. My theory is that after the implosion the release of electromagnetic could effected his mind and triggered that memory or something else like to see the future. We know our brains have neurons and our nervous system also has neurons and sends pulse of lets say electricity, the electromagnetic could effect the brains working, for either bad or good, but in this case it could be good for Desmond seeing the future which we now know was was trying and save Charlie's life not Claires. |

| yea they could of brought him back to the island, well his mind anyway. It's similar when a someone having a nightmare and suddenly something horrible happens to you and you suddenly wakes up. |

Yesterday...Stargate: Atlantis...That episode was about time dilation. Let me explain this one episode (if you watch Stargate: Atlantis and other episode you know what i mean about yesterdays episode).
John Sheppard was trapped in a world where time is much faster than normal when he entered the portal. This world was in a crater of a planet and a time shield was covering the top, where the time is dilated much faster on the inside than the outside (on the outside seconds could have passed but on the inside it could be hours).
This could relate to Lost, instead of in the crater it's on the island and the plane could have passed thought the portal to reach the island, and this Portal could explain why Ben emphasis that Walt and Micheal to follow the set bearings to find rescue, i.e. the portal. Everything that could happen on the inside of the island could be longer, when they somehow get off the island it could be mere hours on the outside.
I know this time theory has being dismissed by the creators, I just feel like putting it in. But this theory could be modify not to do with time but will something else...don't know.
Any thoughts? |

Also an afterthought - back to when your times up your times up theory Desmond has just come across - maybe Charlie was supposed to die along time ago -
1. He was addicted to drugs, he had some with him and then Locke makes him go cold turkey (again to the theory that Locke can also see the future)
2. Then they find the plane with enough dope to last you on a deserted island - cant remember who trashed it all??
3. He was found by Jack??? hanging from a noose close to death when he was trying to rescue Claire
4. Eco conned him into building a church - saviour????
5. He was there when the hatch imploded - couldve died there.
6. and now all this with Desmond.
Maybe he needs to die - dunno all seems pretty freaky that its always about Charlie - dying i mean!!!! |

| im sure locke has "travelled" the same way des did in sesason1+2 he seemed to know what is gonna happen, predicting rain, finding the plane with boone, and when jack didn't want to press THE buton he broke down and was saying its not supposed to happen like this. Also when they first got into the hatch the photo of des and his girlfriend was shown dont know how but sure this shows something about the time travel. |
