i think that "ben" is in charge of every thing , and form the ep that i just watched, he is even holding the others hostage on the island, but mainly that if that is not there island then how come they never seen it form there island and when walt, jin, sawyer and michel went on the boat to try and get away , why didnt they stumbel accros it and then when desmond went sailing , and back to there island , what is the foot that syeide and that see, and what is more strange, the fact of where the rest of the statue is or why it only has 4 toes, or maybe ben , is controlling a race of mutents and that is why there not alownd to do so little

| The smoke is run by the others. It is a mecanism to enhance the protection on the island. They have the ability to disable it, like a force feild so it can only go in certain places. It changes into figures of peoples past but i dont no how. |

| yea the smoky could of protected the internal happenings on the island. But i think the Swan Hatch was protecting the island from being discovered by the use of the electromagnetic, hence the People in the Arctic said the found it, when Locke and Desmond failed to press the button and the hatch imploded. |

| i think smoky maybe protect something else altogether. Smoky not protecting The Losties and as for the 'others' they seem they don't care about it and as well 'others' don't care about it was well. I don't know too. |
