But, there is the spoiler's section to do that. I already know who is going to die but I am doing it for the benefit of all the other people who come here occasionally and don't know who dies and spoiler's like that. |

Now, Everyone has their theories. But i beleive that during this thursdays episode (Dave) there were some major clues. During Hurleys councelling session there's a picture of the island hanging on the wall, we also see Libby in the institution. Now is this mere coincedence or is there more to this than we think?
My veiw on this at the moment is that the entire series is a dream of hurleys. The island picture on the wall is the island that the story is taking place on, the numbers (4,8,15,16,23,42)come from that guy that continually repeats them, Libby (and possibly everyone else thats on the island) are people that Hurley remembers from his past.
it is also possible that Dave does in fact exist, is it possible that after the photo was taken before the dream began? if this is so the photo were Dave is missing is in fact a photo from his dream.
I know it probably has some major holes, but its the best i can think of at the moment. |

i wouldn't read too much into the hurley and dave thing. i think it was just a quick way to explain why hurley is still so fat after 40+ days on the island.
the libby thing is interesting though... |

i dont agree with the whole in hurelys head idea it just dosent go with lost. everything no lost is realalistic eg the hatch stated off wida supernatural kind of theme but then it turned out to be something realalistic. and for that person who said about all the different characters haveing interesting stories well you think of people on a plane a doctor a pregernate woman a father a son all people that would be on a plane. also stuff like a fugitive and a guy who was in a wheelchair and now isnt well the show has to be interesting and different. but i dont think it is all imaginary that is to simple also if that was the whole islands secert that it is in hurelys mind they would of had more of a build up.
ps did anyone else relise dat DAVE is harry from sex and the city. |

Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on 22 September 2004(this has been dubbed as when the plane crashed by Desmond), 20 years after Dharma lost their funding.
And then, there is Desmond and Kelvin in the hatch 3 years before the hatch malfunction that nearly broke the hatch apart and supposedly caused the destruction of Oceanic Flight 815. I guess Desmond crashed during the year 2001.
But, the funding ended in 1984, so how come there are still people on the island? How come there is electricity on the island? How come there is food on the island?
How come...there are resumed experiments on the island?

I have a theory. 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.
these are the numbers that have to be entered into the "micro computer" every 108 minutes, now i learned something interesting today.
It takes a sattelite 108 minutes to perform an entire circuit on the earth. Now is this coincidence or something more? Is it possible that the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 are keeping a sattelite in orbit by entering these numbers every 108 minutes?
Now i also picked out the most serious things to do with the numbers as well. i reckon that each of the numbers has something that it stands for.
4 - The amount of years Locke was in his wheel chair.
8 - The age Sawyer was when his parents died.
15 - now im not 100% sure on this one, but is it possible that this was the amount of time Hurley spent in the Mental Institution? (just a suggestion)
16 - The amount of time that Danielle has been on the island.
23 - The bounty of Kates head is $23,000 (23)
42 - the amount of Survivors at the end of the first season (excluding Aaron) |

It is NOT just in someone's head. That would be stupid, know I would feel cheated if that was the case.
zbrs, perhaps there is still food on the island, because the island is caught in a time lapse, meaning that the people on the Oceanc flight travelled back in time when they went through the electromagnetic field that protects the island from outside interference?
What do you thin about this theory? |

I live in the UK and at the moment we are up two episode 210 which means that we are 9 episodes behind (sob) but mine and my mates theory is that most of the people on Oceanic Flight 815 where running from their own inner demons i.e.
Claire wanting to put her unborn baby for adotion
Jack and his dad
Michael trying to become a good dad to a son who doesnt know him
Saywer coning people etc
and the "good people" on the flight have no skeletons in their closet so thats why the others took them

Just had a good theory maybe Lost will finish as one of the surviours is telling it as a story to someone of how they survived Oceanic Flight 815 crash bar the flashbacks if i'm right isnt claire writing a diray hmmmm.
